The shampoo didn't work for me! It caused itching. It's a shame about the money spent. The only positive is the fragrance.
The shampoo has a nice fragrance and lathers well. It effectively cleanses the scalp, leaving the hair feeling soft to the touch. However, after using it for a while (washing my hair twice a week), it started to dry out my scalp, and dandruff appeared. I used it along with the conditioner.
Could you please clarify something for me? Olaplex products were always made in the USA before. This week, I ordered Olaplex shampoo from Makeup, and it's labeled as made in France. Why is that? Unfortunately, the ingredients also differ from the American Olaplex. Is this a different production line specifically for Eastern Europe, or how should I understand this? Thank you for your response regarding the change in the country of production.
I have natural light-colored hair, and this is the only shampoo that allows me to go two days without washing my hair. Once a week, I use a deep-cleansing blue shampoo. I don't apply anything afterward because I've had a keratin treatment. I've been using this shampoo for over six months, and my hair hasn't gotten used to it like with other shampoos.
I won't buy it again, it's so-so.
Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. I have fine, dry hair. I constantly felt like my roots were dirty and experienced itching and pain. However, I did like how it affected the length of my hair. I used it for 2-3 weeks. On the other hand, I really liked the Olaplex 3, the mask, and the conditioner. They were all great. However, I did not have a good experience with the shampoo.
After using this product, I noticed the appearance of a rash.
The shampoo lathers nicely and doesn't dry out the hair - but after using it, the next day my scalp feels greasy and I feel the need to wash it again. I'm not a blonde, so it's perfect for dyed blondes, but if you use it together with 3, 4, or 5, they give a great effect. Brunettes shouldn't buy it.
This is a very good shampoo. It is economical to use: even a small amount is enough to lather up your head. If you, like me, wash your head twice - you don't have to worry about running out of shampoo too quickly :) I usually buy 250ml - that is enough for 4-5 months of head washing (I use it every 4-5 days). But this may vary for everyone.
What I want to point out is that I have been using it for almost a year, and during this time my hair has become... stronger?)) if I can say so - definitely yes. They are soft, resilient, and there is no breakage (although I sometimes dye them). I used to use the whole range (shampoo + conditioner + no.3 hair emulsion or something like that), but now I have only stuck with the shampoo.
It does not cause dandruff and works well with other products (not Olaplex). So you can experiment however you like.
I am very satisfied! I have thin, dry hair and the air touch works wonders. It does not dry out my hair when used with conditioner. I highly recommend it. Additionally, I also use the 3-in-1 mask and serum.
I really liked it. It is truly economical and the results are impressive.
My hair feels soft after washing, and a small amount of product is enough for my head (short hair).
The shampoo cleanses the hair very gently and is excellent for blondes. It is very economical compared to regular shampoos. I use it together with Olaplex No.3. I am very satisfied with the results. However, do not expect a "wow" effect from the shampoo, as its main purpose is to protect your hair after bleaching, unlike regular shampoos that can damage it. The component responsible for hair restoration, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, is not the main ingredient in the shampoo, unlike Olaplex No.3.
I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, and elixir from this brand, but it turned out to be a waste of money. My hair quickly becomes greasy, and the conditioner doesn't provide any smoothing effect.
I fell for the marketing hype and decided to buy this shampoo. I'm not sure what it was supposed to do, but I couldn't understand why it had such a high price and the results were terrible. I washed my hair in the evening, and by the morning, it was completely greasy, looking like I hadn't washed it for three days. There was no volume, texture, or smoothness. I am very disappointed with this product. A regular mass-market shampoo for 100 hryvnias is better than this.
It's definitely not worth the money. The hair becomes greasy very quickly, requiring daily washing. I was hoping that at least it wouldn't get frizzy, but it didn't meet my expectations. I do not recommend it.
This shampoo is great, foams up well, and you need much less compared to other shampoos. It effectively cleanses the hair. I didn't notice any "wow" effect, but my hair has always been in good condition. Perhaps for some people, it's important that the shampoo has a light scent. However, it doesn't leave any scent on the hair after washing.
I have been using this shampoo for three years now, and I still haven't found anything better! It is perfect for lightened hair.
I have been eyeing this shampoo and conditioner for a while. Finally, I bought it. I can't say anything special about it. It is very economical and cleans well. That's all. Perhaps it just didn't suit me. My hair gets greasy faster, and immediately after starting to use it, it became very static. After washing, I have these electric antennas sticking out in different directions. It's impossible to style my hair. It's annoying. I won't buy it again.
The shampoo was a revelation for me, showing me how well a sulfate-free product can work. Firstly, you only need a small amount for each use (and more is not necessary because it thoroughly cleanses in one go), it lathers up nicely and cleanses the hair well. Therefore, this size will last for a long time. I always follow each wash with the application of a conditioner.
Recently, I dyed my hair blonde and after the coloring, my hair became dry and stiff. My usual shampoos and conditioners no longer suited me. Prior to coloring, my hair was normal, heavy, and silky, and I wanted to regain that feeling after coloring. I decided to try this shampoo because I learned that it can reduce the damage caused to the hair during coloring. After using it, my hair returned to its previous state - soft, light, and silky. The shampoo is thick, so you only need about a quarter of the amount compared to other shampoos. The smell is strange, resembling household soap (but it doesn't make your hair smell like soap after washing, just to clarify). I used the shampoo with conditioner and product #9 before blow-drying my hair. However, if we disregard the conditioner, the shampoo is excellent. I recommend it for those who want to minimize hair damage after coloring.
I initially tried conditioner (#5) and really liked it, so I decided to also try the shampoo. I have dyed blonde hair. The shampoo is extremely drying, luckily the conditioner helps with the situation. It's definitely not suitable for daily use. It also seems like my hair gets greasy faster.
I have already used 250 ml of this shampoo, and it is perfect for my oily scalp. Despite this, my hair does not tangle after washing. My hair becomes more moisturized. It does not cause scalp irritation or dandruff.
This shampoo is more suitable for dry scalp. My scalp tends to be oily, so I wash it every day. There are shampoos that can make my hair look fresh for at least half a day and even the next day, but with this one, by the evening of the first day, my hair doesn't look fresh anymore...
This is an amazing product line. I was hesitant to buy it for a long time because of conflicting reviews, but when I saw a discount on Makeup, I decided to give it a try. To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. After shampooing and conditioning, using just a regular hairdryer, my hair looks like it was done in a salon. There is no weight or heaviness on the hair, and they feel incredibly pleasant to the touch. The shampoo is very thick, so I believe it will last a long time. I definitely recommend it.
This is the best thing that happened to my hair! The shampoo is top-notch! I have been using it for two months now and my hair has become livelier and smoother. I have natural light brown hair. Just like washing with soap every day, I can wash my hair every other day with this shampoo. On the second day, it still looks pretty good, not greasy at the roots. In short, I highly recommend it.
The best shampoo for my hair!
It is very economical to use.
It lathers up nicely.
It has a neutral scent that stays in my hair for two days.
It worked well for me. It adds volume and keeps my hair clean for longer periods of time.
Not worth its price, my hair is porous, it becomes heavy after washing, and my scalp quickly becomes oily.
The shampoo was a complete disappointment. Perhaps I didn't get along with it and I'm doing something wrong, but it tangles my natural thick shoulder-length hair so badly during lathering that I can't even properly rinse my hair. Due to the tangled hair (I've never experienced this before), even with the conditioner from the same line, a huge amount of hair falls out. The usage is indeed minimal and the scent is neutral. What to do now with this bottle and the wasted money is unclear.
The shampoo is generally good, with a pleasant scent and good lathering. However, it is more suitable for normal hair types or even dry hair. It doesn't wash out sebum very well, so if you have oily hair, this shampoo is probably not suitable for you.
The shampoo was not suitable at all and did not justify its price. There was no feeling of having a clean head, the hair tangled, there was no shine, no volume - in short, nothing! After using half a jar, the condition of my hair did not improve, which should have been its main task. The only plus is the nice pleasant smell. I will not buy it again.
Horrible shampoo for its price! It didn't work for me, no effect of clean hair, my hair became heavy after using the shampoo. In this price range, it's better to choose nashi argan or daviness.
The shampoo is just like any other shampoo. It lathers well and has a really economical usage, but it didn't work for me. My hair lost volume and my scalp started itching. Definitely not for me.
The hair shines and it cleanses well. However, I recommend using it only with conditioner and a hair mask because personally, my hair gets very tangled. But as stated in the description, my hair looks like I just came from a salon. And I don't even have to brush it. My rating is 5. I didn't buy it here.
I would like to add to my review. It started with a severe hair loss, in clumps. My hair has never fallen out so much before. Not even the cheap shampoos for 30 hryvnias had such sad consequences. I definitely stop using it. The high cost of this product is only justified by its wonderful marketing.
Considering the extremely economical consumption of this shampoo, 250 ml will last me more than half a year. It's like buying a regular shampoo every month. It doesn't have any magical properties. It slightly greases the scalp and dries out the hair. I won't buy it again, as there are more deserving brands available.
The product line is of good quality. The frequency of washing has not changed (every 2-3 days).
This product is simply amazing. I have dry, curly, and dyed hair. Not blonde, just slightly lighter than my natural chestnut color. I've been using mask number 3, shampoo number 4, and conditioner number 5 for a little over a month now (washing my hair twice a week). The results are evident. My hair feels thicker, denser, stronger, and more bouncy to the touch. The ends are not splitting (knock on wood) and the color is not fading significantly. I am incredibly satisfied with this range of products. It is definitely worth the money. And the shampoo is also super economical. You only need a tiny drop of it.
Personally, it didn't work for me, unfortunately. When washing my hair, it does feel very soft and pleasant, but they don't have the appearance of "clean" hair, as if it's already the second day after washing, even though you just dried your hair. My scalp is normal, and I wash it every 3 days.
I have thin, colored hair, and this shampoo doesn't really give me that wow effect. In fact, my scalp gets oilier faster compared to using another shampoo.
"For colored hair, it is quite good, I can even skip using conditioner afterwards!"
This shampoo is pretty cool! I highly recommend it, especially for damaged and dry hair.
