Cleansing Cream Gel for Sensitive Skin La Roche-Posay Toleriane Anti-Inconforts

I liked this cream-gel, but sometimes I need to wash my face twice because it feels like it's not quite finished. The texture and scent are great, though, thank you.

I purchased this cream-gel on my cosmetologist's recommendation. Indeed, after washing my face with it, my skin feels smooth and not tight. HOWEVER, I have noticed red spots appearing on my skin. I'm not sure if this product just isn't suitable for me or if it's a reaction during the adjustment period. Along with this cleanser, I use La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Cream.

This cream-gel is fantastic; it truly cleanses without drying the skin. It comes in a convenient pump format (400 ml), which is perfect for daily care since some other products can be harsh if used every day. The cleansing is gentle yet effective.

I didn't buy it here. It's better to get the 400ml size right away, as the 200ml tube is inconvenient to dose because too much comes out. It doesn't foam much, but it cleanses quite well. The gel has almost no scent, it doesn't dry out the skin. After washing, I use a fluid and a night cream in the evening. I've already added other products from the same line to my wishlist, as it suits me so well - redness gradually disappears, the skin is moisturized, it doesn't get irritated, regardless of the water quality. The cost is completely justified by the quality.

I bought this gel-cream at the pharmacy, but that's not important. I was inspired to make the purchase by the reviews from girls here, and I am very grateful to them for that.

I have combination skin with rosacea, which is problematic and doesn't know what it needs. I have tried so many gels (mainly bought for problematic skin, thinking I was doing something good), but my skin only got worse, it became more red. And then, among the reviews, I found one where a girl wrote that problematic skin should not be dried out but moisturized, and with sufficient hydration, the skin improves and returns to a normal state, redness calms down.

So, the purchase of this cream-gel is the best thing I've acquired. It doesn't dry out my face after washing, it feels so nourished. Personally, for me, one press is enough to cleanse the skin well (I massage the skin for about 2 minutes), even without foam, and most importantly, the redness goes away! All the positive reviews are true.

It's so rare to find something that your skin loves. After long-term use (twice a week with a pressed sponge), my face feels soft to the touch, there is no feeling of dryness or tightness, and my foundation looks different on my skin.

Before this gel, I had La Roche-Posay Lipikar. It gave a sensation of cleansing the skin "to the squeak". I have sensitive skin with breakouts, so I decided to try this gel. It performs its task exceptionally well.

I have been using this product for three weeks, so I can already evaluate it. I have combination skin that instantly reacts to skincare that doesn't suit it. This means I often have comedones, pustules, and irritations. The reason for my purchase was dermatitis, which didn't go away with my usual skincare routine, so I decided to stop using everything and buy this cleanser, fluid from the same series, and use only them.

I had doubts about whether it would be suitable because the cleansing base is different from what my combination skin is used to. I was afraid it would cause more pimples and make my skin worse than before. But to my surprise, I didn't get any comedones or inflammation, on the contrary, the skin in my T-zone started to produce less oil (meaning I stopped drying it out with harsh cleansers containing SLS, and my skin no longer needed to compensate for the damaged barrier by producing excess sebum). I want to mention that for the first few days, my skin turned red after washing, and I felt warmth, but it didn't happen again after that.

As for the pros: gentle cleansing, doesn't dry out the skin, odorless (although I can sense a pleasant, subtle nutty scent), suitable for my demanding combination skin during the winter period.

As for the cons: it is not used economically, it may cause a burning sensation on damaged areas of the skin.

Please note that it does not remove makeup, unless you wash your face twice. I remove sunscreen/BB cream with micellar water and then wash my face with this product.

I am also not sure if this product will be suitable for me during the summer, perhaps my skin will require more thorough cleansing, so I cannot recommend it for combination/oily skin during the warm season.

So I decided to try this one out and I'm satisfied with the results. Toleriane Anti-Inconforts effectively cleanses the skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight. It lives up to all the claimed characteristics: it reduces redness and irritation, restores the protective barrier (resulting in fewer breakouts), and gently cleanses the skin.

This cream is great for moisturizing, restoring, and toning the skin.

I tried two different sizes (200ml and 400ml) of this product. It seemed to me that they have slightly different compositions. The larger size had a whiter gel and, in my subjective opinion, a slightly different consistency. When using this particular size, I started to notice closed comedones appearing (which did not happen when using the smaller size). The 400 ml bottle lasted me a little over 10 months, so it turns out that the price is the same, or maybe even cheaper than L'Oreal. The large bottle is convenient because it has a dispenser, so I will continue to use it.
