Effortless styling, flexible hold, and a natural matte finish. The hair clay from the Percy Nobleman range combines all the essential qualities of a high-quality styling product. This British brand was founded by Freddy Furber, who grew disillusioned with the endless stream of faceless products. He decided to redefine what it means to be a well-groomed modern gentleman in the 21st century. An extensive range of premium products was developed to meet all the needs of men.
Features of Percy Nobleman Matt Clay:
- Formulated with kaolin and beeswax;
- Enriched with sweet almond oil;
- Perfect for short, classic hairstyles;
- Melts with the warmth of your hands for easy application and distribution;
- Tames coarse and unruly hair;
- Does not clump or weigh hair down;
- Leaves no glossy shine, ensuring a natural look;
- Deeply nourishes and strengthens strands, promoting the restoration of damaged structure;
- Can be reapplied throughout the day if needed;
- Holds styles well yet washes out easily with any shampoo.-
Rub between your palms and apply to damp, towel-dried hair. Then, dry further and style as desired.
The clay is quite oily. It is oil-based, so despite Percy N.'s efforts to create a matte clay, the finish remains oily. It doesn't exactly shine, but you can see that it has an oily texture when applied to the hair. The hold is good. The scent of the clay is also oily, similar to Reuzel.
Out of the three clays that I have tried so far, I will now focus on these. I will pause my experiments for now. The three leaders are Kevin Murphy Rough.Rider, Aveda Grooming Clay, and Moroccanoil Texture Clay.
I also want to try Blind Barber Bryce Harper Hair Clay, Paul Mitchell Mitch Matterial Styling Clay, and STMNT Grooming Goods Dry Clay.
