Anyone who has smelled olive soap knows its unique scent. If you don't like this fragrance, then any other scent, whether it's violet, orange blossom, or something else, will probably also seem unpleasant to you. Initially, I found it off-putting too, but over time, I became so accustomed to it that I couldn't imagine being without it, even buying pure olive soap. As for the feeling of tightness on the skin, you need to get used to natural soap after using gel. It took some time, but I haven't wanted to go back to gel for several years now. Additionally, I use a loofah sponge. I've tried several varieties of soap from this brand, and I really like them.

I made the purchase based on the information and reviews on the website. Unfortunately, the soap does not live up to the first glowing review. At best, it has the scent of basic household soap. Don't expect to find any hint of violet here—it simply isn't present. L’Erbolario Viola is much better, and you can find it in retail stores to smell it before buying.

The soap is fantastic. It says it was made in Aleppo, Syria. I'll definitely buy it again.
