Durable, pleasant scent, but still not the same as before. It's not as intense, it has become lighter. This is more of a question for the manufacturer.
I didn't buy it here, but I still want to leave a review. My husband wanted this fragrance as a gift. He used to use it a long time ago and wanted it again. I don't know what the scent used to be like, but it's definitely not the same as it is now. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. It smells like sharp, cheap cologne. It's a completely different product. The color of the liquid used to be yellowish, but now it's closer to transparent blue. Everything else is the same. So, if you're buying it based on past memories of this fragrance, I don't recommend it.
Honestly, this fragrance is morally outdated and will be removed from the group of scents that have no practical use in my circumstances. It's suitable for special occasions, but for everyday wear, it's too loud. Let's just say it's not useless, but it's just an average scent that can be worn at any time of the year. I don't make such purchases with a full bottle, and I don't recommend it to others. Maybe I'll use it someday because it's not hopeless, but it's not something particularly good either. Although it might suit someone else's taste better.
It's a shame that after the reformulation, it became like an aftershave lotion. When purchasing, I mistakenly believed that along with the bottle, they had also returned the formula from 1994. But no, it's just the old bottle with a new scent. The color of the liquid is gray, when it should be slightly yellowish-green. If I had bought a tester, I would have returned it, but instead, I bought a pig in a poke. It will be perfect for hot weather after shaving!

This perfume is an absolute favorite for my husband. There have been attempts to find an alternative scent (I personally really like Hermes Terre), but as soon as the opportunity arose, this "dinosaur" was purchased again :)
Immediately after receiving the sample, it showed that the scent lived up to expectations. Let's see how it will continue to perform when worn, as the current XS pour Homme is still perceived as a modern creation... as the old ladies sitting by the entrance usually say, "Oh, in our time, it was much better than now..." :)))))
Seriously though, the packaging is completely in line with the original, and it's possible to compare it with the box bought in 2015. All the inscriptions on the bottle are silver. The batch code is present (imprinted on the box and laser-etched on the bottle), and upon verification, the production date in June 2017 is confirmed. In short, the perfume is authentic. These are the positive aspects.
As for the negatives, the following can be mentioned:
- When filling out the order form, a series of questions were asked (in the "Add a comment to the order" field). However, I was only able to get answers to them after I called the manager myself.
- The usual notification through Viber, about the product being on its way with the courier, as well as the coordinates of the courier, was missing. I had to stay at home all day, waiting like "a dog on a leash."
- The courier contacted me on the day of delivery, but it was already after the specified time range in the order, after 5 pm. I had to reschedule the meeting because it's quite silly to receive a perfume as a gift for my husband when he has already come home from work, you know?

In 1996, there was a definitely Spanish-made product.
Great, the 12-year batch is exactly what I needed. This is the XS (fragrance) that my beloved girlfriend gave me in March 1996. It's a luxurious, self-sufficient scent. As for the grass being greener, bigger trees, and the terrifying and powerful IFRA, well, it's like global warming, a mixed bag of bad and good cholesterol. The olfactory receptors gradually atrophy with each passing year, that's a fact. A huge thank you to MAKEUP!
I ordered this product last year. The scent, longevity, and bottle were all top-notch. Recently, I ordered two bottles again, but they have nothing in common with the previous ones. The scent is different, and the longevity is terrible. After just half an hour, it completely fades away.
The expectations were completely met. It's exactly the scent that I remember from the distant 90s. I am grateful for the prompt delivery and for the small surprise inside the package as well.
