However, when used during therapy with topical retinoids, it doesn't always provide sufficient moisturization, maybe around 7 out of 10. After some time, it feels like the cream sort of sits on the skin, so you feel the urge to wash it off quickly. I think for the same price, it would be better to go for Cerave for dry and very dry skin.

The cosmetologist gave me a sample, but after using it, I immediately felt a film on my face. The next morning, I had new breakouts. The cream doesn't absorb, it just leaves a silicone film that later peels off, so I wanted to wash it off as quickly as possible. It's not suitable for acne-prone and dry skin. I don't recommend it.

I use it together with the Effaclar Cleansing Gel and the Effaclar Pore-Tightening Lotion. It doesn't clog anywhere, it moisturizes. Maybe it's because I use the whole Effaclar line, I don't know how the cream will work if you mix different products from different lines and manufacturers.
