I have bought this product before and everything was fine, but this time everything is fake! The shampoo is not thick, it's like water! The smell is similar but not the same! The Olaplex dyeing set is completely different in color and sediment! And it doesn't fulfill its functions! It doesn't protect the hair during dyeing and doesn't provide intense restoration! I am very disappointed, I wasted my money and now I don't trust the authenticity of makeup products anymore.
When the hair is stretching and breaking in wet condition, it works excellently.
I will start by saying that this product is not recommended for home use, so I strongly disagree with the review left by the girl. The product does have an effect, and I do not use it at home (since I am not a professional or a master stylist-colorist who understands proportions). I get my coloring and toning done at the salon with the addition of Olaplex. My hair shines and feels soft, not just from styling (I have had different hairstyles and braids at the salon, and my hair was still soft). Furthermore, my hair remains soft even after three hair washes.
My hair is bleached blonde, and I have been using the second and first compositions at the salon for about three years. During this time, I have grown my hair from a short asymmetrical style (dyed blonde from black, which was also dyed) to shoulder length. Adding Olaplex during coloring helps better preserve the hair structure, as shown in practice over these three years. Previously, I couldn't grow my hair at all (it was stiff, breaking, and falling out).
For home use, it is better to use compositions 3/6/7. Alternatively, you can use the mask/shampoo/conditioner (4, 5, 8).
I would like to leave a review after half a year of use. Let's start with the hair: it is blonde, well-maintained, and not damaged. It is thick, porous, and wavy. I have been using professional hair care products. After half a year, I can confidently say that this product is not worth its price. The marketing hype from this company is greatly exaggerated. There is no noticeable difference compared to using a good mask and shampoo. In other words, it doesn't matter whether you use it or not. I do not recommend it, unless you have money to spare. By the way, to those who defend it, it is usually used in salons. The effect is not from the product itself, but from blow-drying, styling, or using brushes and straighteners. This smoothes the cuticle and makes the hair look well-groomed. Overall, it is a pointless product.
