To begin, it is essential to properly prepare your nails. This step is crucial because the longevity of the gel polish on your nails depends on the accuracy of the preparation. First, use a file or buffer to gently buff your nails to remove any shine and then degrease them. Apply a thin layer of the base coat gel polish and cure it under a UV lamp for 2 minutes. Next, apply a thin layer of the colored gel polish over the base coat and cure it under the UV lamp for 2 minutes. Repeat this step. You can skip this step if you prefer a semi-transparent color for your manicure. For a more opaque and rich color, apply the colored gel polish in 2 layers. After curing the second layer of the colored gel polish under the UV lamp, apply a thin layer of the top coat, paying special attention to the edges of the nails. Cure the top coat under the UV lamp, and then remove the sticky layer using a degreaser.
