I was wondering why I suddenly got a canker sore, something I've never had before. I concluded that this toothpaste is the culprit. I also use the sensitive version from the same brand, and it works perfectly for me. However, after using this one just two or three times, painful spots appear on my gums. Although the ingredients are almost identical, it might be the flavoring that's causing the issue. I don't like this one, but the sensitive version is my favorite.

I have been buying this toothpaste for several years, and it always met my expectations. It was excellent by all measures, probably the best on the market. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has changed the formula for the worse, and now it’s a completely different toothpaste. There is no more aminofluoride in it. I won't be buying it again. For those who say they bought it on their dentist's recommendation, ask your dentist if they know that Elmex is no longer the same as it was a year ago.

It seems like bots are inflating the positive reviews to overshadow the negative ones, which turned out to be quite numerous and very accurately reflected my experience. After two weeks, I noticed tartar on my upper teeth, even though I'd never had it there before. Additionally, my teeth became significantly more sensitive. This might be because I had to put in more effort to remove plaque, but it was all in vain. I've never used a worse toothpaste.

If we talk about the budget segment, this is an excellent toothpaste that I have been using for a while. The only downside is that I couldn't find the fluoride content on the packaging. However, there are several positives: it foams moderately (not too much, not too little), has a pleasant minty taste that doesn't burn your entire oral cavity (I hate "thermonuclear" toothpastes), and cleans well. I use it in combination with the Curaprox toothbrush.
