It protects lips well in the winter and has a pleasant scent.
This is a nice balm, rich and with a light sweet scent. The ingredients are good, especially compared to other lip balms from Nivea.
I have been using it for many years and have tried products from other manufacturers, but this one is the best for me. It goes everywhere with me, in my purse, and even fits nicely under lip gloss. It also has a place in the bathroom.
To be honest, petroleum jelly feels more pleasant on the lips than this balm. For 100 UAH, you get a waxy greasiness on your lips, and some kind of vanilla scent, but not much moisturization.
I have been using this product for many years, but unfortunately, the manufacturer has changed the formula and now it feels like a solid soap. The scent is the same, but the balm is very hard, making it difficult to use, especially during winter. I think it will be okay to use in the summer. The new formula comes in a completely cardboard packaging.
Carmex is far from satisfactory... It has been a complete disappointment, and I strongly advise against purchasing it altogether.
The lipstick tube has an obvious printing defect. In the photo, the bottom part shows a slightly blurred font. I ordered it from a warehouse in Ukraine, not from the EU. Either this is a batch of defective products or they are all like this now, I don't know. The texture feels slightly different on the lips as well. I bought the previous one a year ago from here.

This product is useless. For example, I have dry lips and I applied the balm, and it seemed fine. However, the dryness on my lips remained, as the balm absorbed but my lips remained just as dry as before.

I bought Nivea's hygienic lipstick for the first time. Before, I used to buy Pure Line or Biokon. Biokon is too waxy and dries quickly after application. Nivea lasts longer on the lips, and that is personally a plus for me. It softens and protects against windburn. I would place it in second position after Pure Line. It came in a dark blue packaging, and the cap closes tightly.
The blue packaging was better. This one doesn't give any effect at all.
The lips do become soft, but the sensation on the lips is terrible. It contains paraffin. I used the cherry one before and it was completely different, a pleasant balm that gave a nice red tint to the lips...
After using Carmex, this one feels like Vaseline and paraffin. It doesn't provide a pleasant sensation on the lips.

Out of all the lip balms, both expensive and not so expensive, this one is the best. I have tried many different lip balms, but none of them could handle the task of moisturizing my dry lips. Or if they did, it was only temporary. This is the only lip balm that is truly indispensable. No matter what other lip balm I use, I always come back to the realization that this one is the best.

Well, a couple of stars can be given just because it's Nivea. But overall, the lipstick didn't impress me. It doesn't melt on the lips, you have to apply a lot to moisturize them, but the good thing is that it doesn't have a taste. I don't know, maybe I need to get used to it, but the previous legendary version was the best among all lipsticks.

I have been using Nivea balms and "Basic Care" has been my favorite for many years. However, the new version of the balm has been a complete disappointment! The texture is dense, heavy, and even sticky. It doesn't melt on the lips, but rather coats them with a sticky film, as if it were just plain Vaseline. The balm poorly nourishes the lips and actually causes discomfort and tightness. Another big downside is the new, unpleasant, and somewhat "vintage" smell.
P.S. Nevertheless, a big thank you to the Makeup store for the fast delivery and excellently packaged product! I have ordered cosmetic products here and will continue to do so.
As other customers have rightly pointed out, this lip balm is like Vaseline, and not to mention, the cheapest one. It doesn't even melt on the lips and leaves an unpleasant sticky feeling.

A highly moisturizing balm.
I used to really love this lip balm. But now it has changed. It feels like Vaseline on the lips. The moisturizing effect doesn't last long at all. As soon as it wears off a little, dryness is immediately felt. One positive thing about it for me is the scent. I like it and it doesn't irritate. And yes, it DOES NOT MELT on the lips!!!
Great lip balm. It moisturizes wonderfully. And if you exfoliate your lips before bed and apply the balm, in the morning your lips will be silky smooth.
