I had been searching for tamanu oil for a long time when I needed a facial treatment for small spider veins. I read reviews online that claimed this oil would miraculously get rid of the veins in just a week and also cleanse the pores. Based on the description, it seemed like a cure-all for every ailment and even had skincare benefits. However, when I opened the lid and applied it to my face, it gave me a very unpleasant feeling. It was very thick and heavy. I didn't experience any negative reactions or irritation on my skin, but it still wasn't pleasant. Let's not forget about its smell. Not everyone can tolerate it :)
It didn't improve the condition of my skin at all. It had no effect on my small spider veins. It also didn't strengthen my hair. So, what's the point of using it? I still don't understand. By the way, it didn't cleanse the pores either, rather it clogged them.
