Vertus Bois et Cuir Eau de Parfum is a unisex fragrance that graces both men and women's skin with rich, leather-infused nuances. This perfume bouquet is crafted for the bold individualists, the unique personalities who have their own taste in style, fashion, and life.
The aroma opens with the rainbow motifs of fresh bergamot, juicy grapefruit, and crisp green apple. Nutmeg sage and ivy add a special mystery, intrigue, and flair to the aromatic bouquet. A complex interweaving of heart notes creates a multifaceted bouquet, where noble amber, elegant white cedar, and fragrant jasmine are delicately perceptible. Lavender, patchouli, and cyclamen conjure up a magical mystery and noble refinement. The complex and elegant sillage introduces restrained notes of leather atmosphere and sensuality to the perfume bouquet.
The scent feels unique and personal on my skin; you really need to try it for yourself to understand. Personally, I love the fragrance, but everyone has different tastes. However, its lasting power is impressive.
I didn't purchase this product here, but I believe my review might be helpful to you. After reading the notes, I was intrigued and decided to try this fragrance. Initially, the scent is rich in pine, with subtle hints of vanilla and amber, which I liked; however, it felt a bit heavy and more masculine to me. About 20 minutes later, all I could detect was an earthy note, reminiscent of wet soil after rain, which overshadowed everything else. I even left a blotter in the room to see if the scent would evolve, but no new notes emerged. The earthy aroma dominated the entire palette of ingredients. Therefore, I highly recommend testing it before purchasing! It's a distinctive scent and doesn't resemble Mancera Cedrat Boise at all, neither in the initial notes nor the dry down.
