There is no overpowering sweetness, acidity, or sharp initial impression that can be found in many fougere fragrances. Personally, I haven't come across any similar ones, which makes it truly unique. This product is a fake (I have something to compare with, a little bit left from the old one I bought from fragrancedirect.co.uk).
1) The bottle inside the box is loose, whereas on the original, it fits snugly.
2) When you open the box, the www.lacoste-parfums.com inscription is missing.
3) There should be a plastic barcode at the bottom of the box, beneath the bottle, but it's not there.
4) The batch number and country of manufacture on the bottom of the bottle should be on a rectangular sticker, but here it is a round sticker that is partially torn.
5) The bottom inside the bottle should be almost flat, but here it is convex.
6) The color of the liquid has a pronounced green tint, whereas the original is lighter.
7) The longevity is about a couple of hours, whereas on the original, it would last for 4-5 hours.
From my experience, I have come to the conclusion that if you want to buy the original product, you should order it from Europe or the United States!

The perfume is just average, with a scent that is overly sweet, resulting in a certain cloyingness that quickly became tiresome. I only managed to use half of the bottle before deciding to stop, as they seem to just sit there without being used. Apparently, they're not for me, although they do last quite well.
I received it today! The delivery was extremely fast - just one day! I checked the manufacturing details, and it was made in the USA and Canada on March 12, 2014. It's still ready for use for another 2 years! Initially, I had some doubts and thought it would be something else, but then... the scent dispersed, and I felt exactly what I wanted to buy at Brockard - it's simply amazing, unique, long-lasting, it has been holding for 5 hours already. The water is decent. It has average longevity, but I believe it will perform better in hot weather than it does now at +10 degrees Celsius. It fades from the skin after 3-4 hours, but surprisingly, it lasts on clothes for days! I read that perfumers even recommend applying similar scents more on clothes than on the skin.
