I want to defend this cream!
My situation is as follows: I am 37 years old, during pregnancy, I developed pronounced pigmentation on my face (it seemed as if I had been sunbathing with sunglasses on - this is one type of pigmentation, I forgot what it's called) and after 6 years, the pigmentation did not go away!
I have tried everything on my skin! - Soviet creams against pigmentation, lemon juice, toothpaste to whiten it a little (out of desperation), I haven't tried salon treatments (because they are expensive and usually only offer peels).
In short! - I came to the conclusion that I need to protect my skin as much as possible during sunny periods - with a wide-brimmed hat and a protective cream with the highest SPF!
The texture of the cream is thick and greasy, and the instructions recommend applying it in a certain thickness to protect your face (I can't remember exactly). To defend your skin, apply a layer that will make your face appear white (but this does NOT mean that your face should have the color of theatrical white makeup!)
The result of regular use throughout the sunny period (I always applied it when going outside + wore a hat + sunglasses) - the pigmentation did not increase! My skin did not become dry from the sun, even during long exposure (I have normal to combination skin type) + after washing off the cream, my skin does not feel tight and is pleasant to the touch + my skin has become more even.
And most importantly! I don't care what people say or how they stare at me on the street! - What matters is how I see myself in the mirror after washing off this cream.
PS: Take care of yourself and your skin, not the opinions of others!
This is just a nightmare!! First of all, this is not a lotion!! It's a white, clay-like, very thick cream!! I have combination skin that tends to get oily, and this product dried me out completely from the first use!! It goes on like a white mask!! It clogs pores!!!
Money wasted in the wind!!!
I do not recommend it to anyone!!
The company should really reconsider the consistency and color of this cream!! There is not a word about it in the brochure, and the salespeople at the pharmacy also have no information about it whatsoever!
I didn't buy it here, but the SPF is awful and greasy. It applies like a white mask and somehow emphasizes flakiness. The only positive thing is that it doesn't clog pores, but I regret spending money on it.
I read reviews and understand this is what happens when people don't understand the specifics of a product. I bought this sunscreen on the recommendation of a dermatologist for my 1.6-year-old child. For this age, a sunscreen with only physical filters and a safe composition is necessary. And this Avene sunscreen fully performs its function and is suitable even for delicate baby skin. Yes, it does cover the skin with a white film, but it cannot be applied differently in order to perform its function. Therefore, I recommend this cream, it is a wonderful product for little children.
I didn't like the cream at all. It has a white-gray color, and it gives the same color to the face, which is a nightmare. It's a bit greasy. I don't recommend it.
Terrible cream, a waste of money. The cream is extremely greasy, with a thick gray color. It feels like I applied a clay mask on my face and didn't wash it off! It's embarrassing to go outside with this monstrosity, it's even unsuitable for the beach!
