The light, slightly spicy, and tangy scent of lavender served as the inspiration for the perfumers at the English brand Yardley, culminating in the luxurious fragrance, English Lavender. Pure and enchanting, multifaceted and inspiring, this aroma will be a delightful adornment for every woman. The perfume is woven from woody and floral notes, which gradually unfold, offering a sense of springtime lightness.
Bergamot and clary sage open the symphony with refined spiciness. Geranium, jasmine, chamomile, violet, and eucalyptus are framed by the "queen" of the fragrance—lavender. The "heart" of the composition sparkles with bright, rich, and long-lasting floral accords, while the finish leaves trailing hints of sweet vanilla, wood, and patchouli. They envelop the body with a lasting aftertaste, allowing you to appear even more vibrant and intriguing to those around you.
I have been searching for "those same" lavender perfumes that would have a moderate intensity and smell like clean soap. Unfortunately, these are not the ones. The scent still reminds me of some grandma's cologne or even an air freshener. However, Chloe Lavanda is a different story altogether.
The fragrance is herbal, which lavender enthusiasts should take into consideration. Lavender is the main note here, but it is accompanied by subdued hints of bitter eucalyptus, chamomile, and sage, while patchouli and wood give it an earthy undertone. The initial impression after application is that the perfume is slightly soapy, but after a while, the soapiness fades away, leaving behind a restrained and sophisticated aroma of lavender and dried herbs. It evokes the scent of autumn and tranquility. It lasts for several hours. It doesn't have a strong sillage, but that's not important to me because I use it exclusively for myself.
The fragrance is amazing! I've heard that Caron has one of the best lavender scents in the world for cologne. I have it. But my preference is definitely in favor of Yardley! It's very intimate, sophisticated, and cozy. It smells like cleanliness and warmth. For me, it's the scent of autumn in the south. I have become a devoted fan of Yardley English Lavender from the bottom of my heart! Thank you, website! As always, you did not disappoint.
Yardley's lavender water is exquisite, especially during the warm September days. Yes, this natural water may not leave a long-lasting trail, but it is meant to be an intimate fragrance, just for yourself. Its scent is fresh, spicy, aromatic, enveloping, and evokes a peaceful and self-loving mood. Definitely a must-have for lavender enthusiasts to add to their collection.
To my immense disappointment, there is NO lavender scent in my bottle ((( It smells like a strong cologne instead (( I am very, very upset!
I agree with Anna. The impressions are the same, the scent of true lavender, only for its fans. For me, it is more of a single-note fragrance, I don't perceive any other notes.
This fragrance is for true lavender lovers! I really liked it. It unfolds very interestingly with woody notes. You can feel that the scent is natural, not chemical.
I really liked the scent. At first (literally 2 minutes) - it's a little soapy, then warm, soft, but not vanilla-musky, more like a light, sometimes giving a subtle hint of lavender, I can't identify the other notes, something floral-field-like, but not sweet (the leather is cold). There is absolutely no bitterness or woody notes, and I couldn't detect the base either :( Although I wanted to. As an everyday, work option - it's just what I need. The only downside is that it only lasts for about 3.5 hours on my skin (on fabric it lasts longer, definitely until the next day on a scarf). It doesn't leave a trail on me. Considering the volume and price, I am quite satisfied. I deduct one star for its lack of longevity (it's probably normal for a toilet water, but carrying such a bottle with me is completely unacceptable).
Make Up, as always, is top-notch. The order processing and delivery are incredibly fast and always impress me. However, the actual fragrance was disappointing. I usually only purchase a new scent after personally trying it.)) But here, I decided to take a risk because I liked the description of the notes and the combination of components. Unfortunately, the fragrance turned out to be quite sharp and unpleasant for me. I won't be able to use it. If there are girls who are in love with this scent and are not bothered by the removed plastic film on the packaging and a couple of sprays on the dispenser, I will gladly give it as a gift.
