I didn't buy it here, it doesn't smooth out wrinkles at all, but the product doesn't leave a film, it absorbs well, and has a pleasant smell. I have a question about the bottle - why is it so inconvenient? Is there a similar product with a normal container, or is it not possible to come up with a different bottle? The inconvenient dispensing of this product is a big issue! I rate it 2 stars solely because of the bottle! After a week of use, it simply got clogged because the base is very greasy, and I had to remove the dispenser to get the balm. For the price, you can't even get the balm because the dispenser clogs immediately... it seems like a flaw from the company!
I bought this balm for the first time abroad because it is a familiar brand. I was specifically looking for an anti-aging product, and this one contains retinol, albeit a weak one. I am 39 years old and have sensitive combination skin, prone to breakouts. The product is very pleasant and convenient to use thanks to its simple bottle with a dispenser. The cream texture is slightly greasy, similar to a balm, and has a light fragrance (not too strong and pleasant to me). I did not experience any negative effects from it (breakouts or redness), but it does a great job of adding tone to the skin. I usually apply it over a moisturizing serum. I never layer it with another cream, but every few days, I rotate and use something moisturizing (an overnight mask) instead of phyto-lift. I always apply SPF in the morning. For the summer, I will probably find a lighter product, but for the next cold season, I plan to repurchase it.
The cream has a sharp scent and a yellowish color. However, I found the moisturizing effect to be insufficient. I did not understand the purpose of this product.
I love Avene and have tried almost all of their products. However, this cream didn't work for me. I am 28 years old and have normal skin without acne, but it tends to get dehydrated. Unfortunately, this cream doesn't moisturize my skin at all, even though my main Avene product, the Leger SPF60, does a great job. It did help tighten my wrinkles, but my skin feels very dry after using it. Also, the scent is quite strong for a night cream. I received it as a gift, but if I had bought it myself, I would have been disappointed.
The cream is simply amazing. After applying it twice, my facial skin noticeably tightened. I really liked the effect, and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
