The invigorating and refreshing Pino Silvestre Original Eau de Toilette, developed in 1955 by the famous perfumer Lino Vidal, will be the perfect addition to the image of a modern, young and ambitious gentleman. Its fougere composition is pure as a drop of morning dew and fresh as a breath of a slightly cool spring breeze, inspiring you to reveal yourself to the world and boosting your confidence.
The olfactory pyramid of Pino Silvestre Original Eau de Toilette:
Top notes open the composition with sweet basil, refreshing bergamot, sour lemon, juicy Juniper berry, and delicate lavender motifs.
Heart notes reveal spicy clove, warm cumin, majestic geranium, minty salvia, and intoxicating pine needle nuances.
Base notes form a long-lasting trail of marine ambergris, powdery musk, grassy oak moss, smoky tonka bean, and woody white cedar overflows.
Scent 50+. Fresher than its blue counterpart, but also suitable for a more mature audience.
The lasting power is zero. After 30 seconds, there is no scent whatsoever. Personally, I don't smell any pine needles. To me, it smells like very old, dusty bay leaves that have been sitting in my grandma's apartment. It's not even worth my relatively small amount of money. This is not a fragrance, but an unpleasant elderly smell of a storage room.
I was really hoping for a very fresh, piney, and long-lasting scent. After reading the comments and reviews, someone mentioned that this perfume is very long-lasting - a completely opposite opinion from mine. It is not long-lasting at all. It's fresh, piney... but only lasts for an hour. I really love and respect the history behind its creation... I translated everything on the box before opening it... it warms my heart that it's a product of Italy, which I love... and it's supposed to be a bouquet of herbs... But there is absolutely no longevity (sadly). I hope my comment will help future buyers who are interested in purchasing it.
Sharp, strict, mature, fresh, and very long-lasting. I think it might be difficult to blindly choose this fragrance because it is different from the usual fougere scents - it's not soft, herbal, or watery. It's truly pine-like, but with a prickly edge. I believe it would be suitable for men over 40.
The pine needles are practically unnoticeable. The scent is quite cheap, but it matches the price.
