I would like to add to my review - they are amazing, they smelled on the sweater all night! For some, they may be overpowering, very much for those who enjoy strong, pungent scents, but the aftertaste is magnificent, in my opinion! The box wasn't made of mica for me either, but there was an air cushion, original 100%.
Very sweet, cherry-musky-vanilla, in my opinion. Not for a young girl in her twenties, but very sophisticated, mature, slightly retro, but not overly so. I received it today, let it settle and applied it, the scent is quite pronounced after 2 hours. I think it's more suitable for winter, although that's subjective.
I find this perfume to be of an oriental character, warm and sweet. I can really sense the cream with cherries and perhaps a hint of lemon. As for the aldehydes, they are either minimal here or I simply do not detect them. The impression of the scent is very pleasant, and I think we will get along well. It would be best suited for colder weather. The smell is sophisticated and expensive, niche fragrances are not always as impressive. The bottle itself is simple yet elegant. The box was not in cellophane, which slightly concerned me, but it seems like it was never opened. So, everything is okay.
Personally, this fragrance didn't work for me. I bought this perfume without testing it, based on the reviews - complete nonsense. The scent is nothing special: weak, old, very much an acquired taste - it reminds me of my grandmother. As for its longevity, it's nonexistent. I was hoping it would settle and open up, but no, that miracle didn't happen. I bought it on sale for 449 hryvnias and was extremely surprised to see the price jump to over 900 hryvnias after a couple of days. It's not even worth 500, let alone paying more for it - that would be foolish. Everyone has different preferences, but it's better to test before buying.
This has been my long-standing favorite. I have been using it since 2009. It has a pleasant scent of cherry pit. The fragrance is quite long-lasting considering its price.
I loved the scent so much that I ordered another 75ml tester for myself (from a different store). It reminds me of something very pleasant from my childhood.
They are wonderful with a soft, cherry flavor that is not overly sweet.
Tonka beans in this fragrance give a creamy cake scent. Cherry pits are expected, along with a touch of tartness. The woodiness is veiled by amber. Vanilla is present in the base. It is very long-lasting and has a noticeable trail. Suitable for autumn and winter.
Another favorite in my perfume wardrobe. I didn't immediately understand and accept it. I even wanted to part ways. But over time, it's simply a miracle. Honey cherry with a pit, an inedible delicacy. I adore it in winter. I still have half a bottle, but I've already bought a second one, just in case they discontinue it.
On me, it sounds like a tart almond, somewhat plain. I don't wear it on its own, but if you add Montale's vanilla to it, it turns out quite nice.
I would like to add something. I can also detect a hint of cherry amidst the dry woody notes. Sometimes this cherry note is more pronounced, while other times it becomes more subtle. It's quite an interesting aroma, considering that I only purchased it less than a week ago.
I also decided to make a purchase after reading bloggers' reviews. The amber theme is new to me, and I wanted to give it a try. I received it when it was -20 degrees outside, and I couldn't resist applying it immediately as soon as I crossed the threshold of the post office. I smiled when I smelled it... The cold weather is its time. Love at first application. At first, it was caramel-like and vibrant (bergamot-citrus?), then I could detect the dry and delicious woody notes, like in a sauna, and finally, such a welcoming and gentle vanilla (vanilla and tonka bean have always scared me). When applying it in a warm room, of course, the initial sensations from what I heard might scare some people (aldehydes..?) But then... warmth, coziness, deliciousness... I secretly sniff my wrist... Considering my long-standing dislike and caution towards vanilla notes, I remain of the opinion that this fragrance is ambiguous and worth it, not simple and not ordinary. Its time is the cold and frost. At least for me, at this stage. And who knows, maybe I'll be able to wear it even on cool summer days later on. I am very happy that I took the risk. And I'm glad that the fragrance surprised me.
First of all, I placed an order last night and it was delivered to me at 10 in the morning! Talk about lightning-fast speed! I was pleasantly surprised.
Secondly, I decided to go for this fragrance based on the reviews, without even trying it, and I am shocked at how much it suits me, it perfectly matches my all-time favorite essence absolue thierry mugler. The richness of this scent is indescribable, it's pure bliss. It has a retro vibe without being overpowering.
I can't hear cherries at all, but I do hear something warm and sweet, like vanilla cream or vanilla ice cream.
They say this perfume is a replica of the currently trendy fragrance What we Do in Paris Is a Secret by A Lab on Fire. I haven't smelled that one, but this one is very delicious! And the price is good too. It has a nice scent, with a hint of retro, but it's not a big deal. Although it might be purely subjective – maybe because one girl told me she often heard it in Germany in the 90s.
I really liked the water. The service, as always, was top-notch. Thank you for the gift.
Beautiful cherry! Not cloying! There is no excessive sweetness, everything in it is just right! Excellent longevity.
Great scent: on my skin, it smells like cherry pits and musk. It lasts long, and I didn't notice any lingering trail. The delivery, as always, was top-notch.
As always, excellent! It's just a pity that there are not many women's Joop fragrances on the website. Immediately, you can clearly smell the cherry, followed by aldehydes, vanilla, and amber. It gradually unfolds and has good longevity, leaving a lingering trail. I had been struggling to find and buy it in Ukraine for a long time, so thank you Makeup!
This product exceeded all my expectations. I can't detect any aldehydes at all. In the top notes, I can smell cherry pits, seasoned with a soft vanilla. As it dries down, it becomes a dry and dense amber-woody scent with resinous undertones and tonka beans.
Le Bain is very comfortable to wear and is perfect for when you want relaxation and tranquility. The sillage is not very long, but it is distinct, and the longevity is high.
