Henna-Based Herbal Hair Color Delia Cameleo

I had high hopes for this hair dye, especially after reading Antonina's review, but they turned out to be in vain. I am also allergic and have tried numerous dyes from budget-friendly to very expensive ones, all of which promised excellent results without any side effects. All in vain.

As for the Delia Cameleo hair dye, it is true that it hardly irritates the skin, but that is where its merits end. I read in reviews that it washes out quickly and was prepared to dye more frequently if there was no irritation. Let me clarify that I started graying very early, and now it's over 60 percent. I dye my hair black.

And now, what I ended up with: the first time I left the dye on my hair for 30 minutes, as instructed. The gray turned yellow. My skin didn't itch.

The next day, I left it for 2 hours. I didn't consider that during this time the dye dries up and stops working. As a result, the yellow tint remained, but more intense. My skin started itching a few hours later, but not severely.

I gave my head a break and after two days decided to finally achieve the desired result (the promised black color). I left it on for an hour and a half, wetting my hair with water from a sprayer every 30 minutes. The result was a rich copper color. My skin itches in some places, but not persistently.

In conclusion, I can say that a lot of time and effort was spent, but the end result was not achieved. My hair did not become black and it is unlikely to become so with this dye. It will suit those who dye their hair in lighter shades and have very little gray.

Will I buy it again? Probably not. It's a shame because it's the only dye that didn't cause a terrible allergic reaction for me.

I really like this hair dye on my thin, grayish-brown hair. It lasts for about 3 weeks and is easy to apply. The scent is pleasant, and I highly recommend it!

I used it on my shoulder-length hair. I am a brunette. It gave a nice color, added brightness and saturation. One tube was enough. It is very convenient to apply.

Finally, something truly chocolatey, not purplish-red-brown like most tinted balms that are labeled "Chocolate".

Medicinal hair dye. It strengthens hair roots instantly. I buy it approximately twice a year for the purpose of strengthening my hair. It is a very unique product, I believe argan oil has been added to moisturize the hair because henna tends to dry it out. I use the color 7.0 and it results in a very beautiful shade! My hair shines! It washes out after a month.

I decided to try this hair dye, but I was disappointed. The consistency of the dye is very watery, and I barely had enough from one tube to cover my shoulder-length hair (I bought another brand of henna-based dye, and it was enough for two applications on waist-length hair). I chose the chocolate color, but it washed out almost immediately, leaving only a light chestnut shade. It seems to cover the gray hair though. It didn't damage my hair.
