I haven't noticed any effect, but I don't use it regularly. I actually prefer another product from the same brand that contains almond acid.
I am leaving this review as a warning. I previously had the same reaction to the Bielenda Glycolic Serum, as it caused an allergic reaction for me. The same thing happened with this serum. Interestingly, I used one bottle and half of another. Since I developed an allergy, I stopped using all their products and went back to my glycolic acid. I woke up the next morning feeling like I had been stung by bees all night. I threw away the glycolic acid, treated my allergy, and yesterday I made the mistake of using their Vitamin C product. To my surprise, the allergic reaction was even worse than the first time, making it my third allergy to Bielenda products. So, the product must contain some ingredient that caused my acquired allergy. Because my skin and eyes did not react immediately, I used it for several months. Now I am back on antihistamines, using hormonal creams on my eyes, and dealing with the bees again. I will never go near the Bielenda brand again. I wonder what they put in their jars... Now, even without allergies, I am afraid to use any other product because I don't know which component caused my persistent and regular allergic reaction.
In my opinion, this serum is excellent in terms of both its scent and consistency. It evens out the tone of my face. I have been using it for a while now, and I am 50 years old. Both my daughter and I use it, and we are pleased with the results.
I have used up the entire jar and I can say that there is no strong effect. There is a slight improvement in evening out the skin tone and lightening pigmentation spots, but this effect does not last long.
I am satisfied with this serum. It is economical and does not leave any stickiness on my face. I apply it at night and seal it with a moisturizer. My skin's condition has improved; it is toned and well moisturized. As for other functions of the serum, I cannot comment yet as I have only been using it for a short time. However, I really liked the serum.
Excellent serum. I have purchased it for the second time and plan to continue doing so in the future.
I have been using this serum for the third time and I really like it! I have four serums from this brand: moisturizing with oats, retinol (red), glycolic acid, and this one. I particularly prefer the glycolic acid and this one. I didn't understand the purpose of the oat serum at all, as it doesn't seem suitable as a cream for young skin. However, it doesn't do anything for my 40-year-old skin. The retinol serum, intended for mature skin, is also just okay. It can be used instead of a cream, but I prefer day creams with SPF. However, it might be suitable for nighttime use. On the other hand, the glycolic acid serum and this one with vitamin C work excellently. I apply the glycolic acid serum at night and seal it with the same series' cream. I really like the daytime cream with vitamin C serum, it's great, not greasy, and perfect for winter, with SPF 20. My daughter-in-law has also purchased the blue serum and she likes it too. Overall, this brand is good, the ingredients and scent are nice, and the creams work well. The only downside is that the day creams lack sun protection. They are not suitable for summer, unless it's a cream that can be used for both day and night, but only during winter.
This is a good serum that I use a couple of times a week and follow up with a moisturizer. It seems to lighten and even out the skin tone nicely, but you need to give your skin time to adjust to the vitamin C, as there may be slight irritation at first. However, all serums from this brand are great and, most importantly, effective.
I absolutely love this brand. This serum didn't always help, but it worked wonders when it came to dealing with flakiness and acne marks. After using it for two weeks (applying it in the morning and evening), it completely removed all traces.
I bought it a month ago and at first I didn't quite understand - it's not easy to apply with massaging movements, it absorbs quickly and leaves a slightly sticky finish (not oily). It didn't cause any reactions on my dry and dehydrated skin (40+), but I haven't seen any effects yet, including brightening. I've been using it for a few days in the evening with Bielenda Vege Skin Diet cream: I mix 3-5 drops of serum with the cream in my palm and apply it to my face - it works fine (I tried applying the cream on top of the serum, but it rolls off). Overall, I'm still testing it, but the sensations are mostly positive. The scent of the serum reminds me of nicotinic acid, but it quickly fades when combined with the herbal scent of the cream.
I initially purchased this product to use in the morning, but due to its unpleasant consistency, I had to switch to using it in my evening routine. Despite reading numerous positive reviews, I didn't see any noticeable effects on my skin.
This serum is excellent with a stable formula of vitamin C and antioxidants. I have been using it for almost a year and have purchased it multiple times. It is important to understand that this is not just a moisturizing neutral serum - it is an active product! The skin needs to get used to and adapt to actives, so it is normal to experience breakouts and redness in the beginning. Especially considering the noticeable concentration of vitamin C. Actives should be introduced gradually with an understanding of your skin's needs. As for the oiliness of the serum - again, this is an antioxidant product, and all antioxidant products can seem slightly oily, but it is not due to oil in the composition, but rather its natural consistency. I use it every morning and top it off with a light gel cream. The result is fresh, even-toned, radiant, and nourished skin.
After applying, there is a sticky feeling, yes. My skin is free from breakouts, but I still have blackheads. Unfortunately, after using this product for a week, I noticed the appearance of pimples.
Stickiness + breakouts started from this serum.
It seems to lighten, but the base is very sticky and unpleasant. It is preferable to use it in the evening before bed.
It works great on my combination skin. I apply it to damp face immediately or after toner, but it is necessary for the face to be damp for it to absorb properly. I also apply regular skincare on top. I have already purchased it three times, but be cautious in the summer - it requires SPF protection on top. I believe it performs well with its function, although it is not professional cosmetics. However, for at-home skincare, it is a worthy product. I have all the serums from this brand, but their creams are too heavy for me.
This serum is absolutely terrible with a sticky effect.
The sticky film remains after drying. In my opinion, this water does not combat small pimples and post-acne.
Leaves a sticky film on the face. I am disappointed. The moisturizer from this series is much better.
Previously, it had a great effect on me, but now it's useless. I used it in cycles. It's a pity, I used to love it so much...
I read reviews saying that it doesn't help with acne, etc. Well, it seems that everyone's experience differs! It worked wonderfully for me, even on those inflamed areas where I had redness and pain, they subsided! I use the MEZO peeling roller, the Bielenda splash mask, and after everything, serum both in the morning and at night! I am satisfied.
The serum is good and its effect is similar to that of a serum with almond acid. It exfoliates the skin well. However, it is not effective for my problematic skin, specifically for breakouts. If you don't have breakouts, you can confidently try it, but personally, serums with glycolic acid and almond acid work better for me.
The serum worked well for me. I apply it in the morning and evening, and then follow up with a cream from other Bielenda series. I don't feel any stickiness after it absorbs, and it provides enough moisture for my combination skin. After a week of regular use, my post-acne marks have significantly calmed down and lightened. I found this serum to be more pleasant to use than the acid one from another series. It is very comfortable for autumn daytime use and under makeup.
I have been using it for a month, and it hasn't lightened any post-acne marks. It does dry out and tighten the skin. I'll give it 2 points for the reusable glass jar.
I have been using this serum for about three years. I liked the moisturizing effect and the light smoothing action, and I truly believed it was effective. Until I found out that niacinamide and vitamin C do not work well together, as they require different environments. I couldn't find separate products with niacinamide and vitamin C for separate use (every other day), which would be a completely different story. So compared to single-ingredient products, this serum is mediocre. Neither one of the active ingredients works, and maybe even both, hence the weak effect.
I didn't see any changes whatsoever.
I have been using this product for about a month now, and I am surprised to see so few reviews and only three stars. I really like this serum, I use it as part of my evening skincare routine, after toner. Just one dropper is enough for my entire face. I let it fully absorb and then apply my moisturizer. If I don't use the moisturizer, I notice that my face becomes matte. And in the morning, when I wash my face, I can feel how smooth and polished it is.
I have normal skin, but after using this serum, my T-zone becomes so oily that you could fry pancakes on it.
Wonderful serum! I'm ordering my second one, as it effectively tackles breakouts and gives my skin a refreshed appearance. I only use it in the morning and always follow up with a moisturizer.
The serum is good. It has a scent, but after using it twice, I got used to it. The most important thing is the effect, and it was there!
I have been wanting to try this serum for a while now. I didn't experience any super whitening effect, but my skin tone has become more even. I don't feel any moisturizing effect at all, only stickiness that lingers for a long time, which is a bit unpleasant. However, I have heard that serums with vitamin C can have this kind of "effect".
