The pencil is nice and inexpensive, and I really like it. It's great value for the price, especially with the brush included!
I often buy these. They're affordable and last a long time. They sharpen well and don't break easily. The shade 72 is a natural gray-brown, not too dark and a bit firm, while shade 80 is almost black, which I like for its softness.
Great pencil. The shade suited me perfectly, which I didn't expect.
I was undecided between shades 76 and 75, but I chose 75 and am extremely happy with the result. The pencil gives a perfectly natural color. Thank you, Makeup, for the gifts and fast delivery! ♥️
Which shade is lighter, 75 or 76?
73 people liked this review. The quality of this pencil is good. I buy it regularly.
It's good that it's cheap because it doesn't work for me. It's very hard, doesn't write well, and scratches the skin.
I have been using these pencils for many years, and number 77 is the best match for me. I have very fair skin, and this shade doesn't have any orange undertones. I am satisfied with the texture of the pencil.
I have ordered from Makeupi several times before and have always been satisfied, but not this time. When I received this pencil, I was unpleasantly surprised as soon as I unpacked it because the brush was not at all like the one in the picture! Attached photo for reference.
The pencil draws well and everything is great, but the shade doesn't match. I ordered dark chocolate, thinking it would be like the photo with a cool undertone, but what came was more like a plain brown, with a slightly warm tone.
Great pencil. I like that it's not soft, so it draws nicely, doesn't smudge, and lasts long.
Everything is great, thank you!
These pencils are awesome, they can easily compete with more expensive brands. I have been using them for many years, so I highly recommend them!
I decided to try this pencil for the first time, in shade 73, because I have brown hair with darker roots and lighter towards the ends. At first, it seemed too hard and scratchy, but I quickly got used to it and started applying the color. The shade is beautiful, although the pencil seemed a bit darker. It passed the test, as it stayed on my brows all day without smudging or fading, and there was no greasy shine on my combination skin (unlike my previous ones that would start shining after just 2 hours).
I bought the 77 shade for the second time, it's a nice gray without any blue undertones. However, the 81 shade is quite confusing. Why would they make an eyebrow pencil with pearl shimmer?
I purchased shade number 73. When the pencil arrived, I tried it on my hand and was disappointed - it seemed very hard and irritated my skin. I didn't even want to use it at first. However, when I applied it to my eyebrows, I was pleasantly surprised! The pencil draws very well, doesn't irritate the skin, and gives me perfect eyebrows. It is definitely not soft, but that's exactly what I needed - a dry and firm pencil for my eyebrows. Now, this budget pencil has become my favorite, I even abandoned my Loreal and Maybelline ones. The color is very natural, a gray-brown shade, and it lasts the whole day if you don't rub your eyebrows, of course. The only downside is that I wanted to order another one now, but it is no longer available.
Number 77 is a dark grey shade, not black, without any brown undertones and does not give a bluish tint. It is exactly what I needed. The pencil is firm and draws a thin, non-greasy line. It is suitable for correcting eyebrow shape with short strokes - it looks like your own hair strands.
I really liked it.
I absolutely love this pencil! I use the 75 tone, and it stays on beautifully throughout the day.
Great
I am very satisfied with this eyebrow pencil. I have been using shade 81 for about 5-6 years and it has never disappointed me. The shade is extremely natural, perfect for someone with ash blonde hair. However, I must admit that my mother, who has dry mature skin, does not like using this pencil. According to her, it scratches and doesn't apply smoothly. On the other hand, I have a combination skin type and I find this pencil works wonders for me in filling in my eyebrows. It stays put all day without smudging and doesn't have that shiny look like most greasy pencils do. Personally, I would rate it 10 out of 5.
These are currently the best pencils I have come across, and I have tried various ones, both luxury and budget options. However, I keep coming back to these 75 and 77 pencils as they are my absolute favorites. They have a dry texture, which I personally prefer. I highly recommend them!
I ordered the shade 073 earlier and it is really cool. The pencil is quite dry, which makes it easy to set with gel or wax and it doesn't smudge (which is what annoys me the most about soft pencils, as they are not long-lasting). Although it is not very big, it lasts for a long time and it is very easy to work with. It takes just a minute to apply on the eyebrows. Unfortunately, the shade 73 is currently unavailable, so I will try the shade 74.
I like both the 73 coffee with ash (taupe) pencil and the 78 bitter chocolate without any redness.
78 color
The 78 color is absolutely stunning! The shade is vibrant and eye-catching, making it perfect for adding a pop of color to any look. The pigmentation is excellent, providing intense and long-lasting color payoff. The formula is smooth and easy to blend, allowing for seamless application. I also love how versatile this shade is - it can be used for both bold and subtle looks, depending on the desired intensity. Overall, I highly recommend the 78 color for anyone looking to elevate their makeup game with a beautiful and versatile shade.
I ordered shade 78, and it's also cool, brown-gray with a hint of brown but definitely not reddish at all. I am a warm blonde and usually go for shades 73 or 75, and this one also suits me well. In the summer, it tends to clump a little on my oily skin, but I use a good rice powder (Paese) and apply it on my brow area, and it stays quite well.
For its price, it is simply wonderful. If there are gaps in the coverage, it is not greasy and does not look unnatural, blending into the pores. If the right color is chosen, it looks like a perfect 5. I am satisfied!
This pencil is fantastic, it is a perfect fit.
The pencil is decent for its price. I use the 78 - bitter chocolate shade. It has a beautiful color and is easy to apply. However, it cannot withstand extremely high temperatures during the summer.
And I also want to add a swatch of shade number 81.
I purchased the eyebrow pencil in color 73 and it matched well with my brown hair, without giving off any red tones. The pencil is quite dry, but it applies nicely to the eyebrows with a thin layer, giving a powdery effect. Towards the evening, it may smudge slightly, but I have oily skin, so most cosmetic products don't perform well on me. However, it stays on my face just as well as much more expensive options. Overall, I definitely recommend it.
I purchased shade 74, and it is an excellent choice for blondes. However, there are a few downsides. It is quite difficult to apply, requiring extra effort to fill in the eyebrows. Additionally, during the summer, it easily smudges and does not last very long.
I have just started using this eyebrow pencil. I am satisfied with the shade, I chose 78, which is suitable for brunettes. It is easy to apply and blend. However, I can already say that it is NOT waterproof. In hot weather, if you accidentally touch your brow even lightly, it smudges. If someone also has increased facial sweating during hot weather, it will not be suitable for you.
I absolutely love this pencil, I have bought it for the second time already, while all the others went into the trash. This pencil creates a powdery effect on my brows, it is firm enough to draw nicely. The only minor drawback for me is that it doesn't have a cap on the brush, so it tends to deform over time.
I have been using this pencil for many years. One thing I can say is that it is excellent. I always have several different brands for eyebrows, but I can't do without Avenir. I use shade 73, which is the perfect medium brown color. It is not fragile, not too hard or soft, and has good staying power (it lasts all day without any issues).
"The tight chocolate with ash turned out to be not cold at all. It had a reddish shade. I don't recommend it for brunettes. I bought the pencil and only use the brush on it. ))))"
Great pencil. The effect of drawn eyebrows is missing. Long-lasting. It arrived slightly sharpened or broken, but that's not a big deal. Overall, everything is good. I give it a positive rating.
I am satisfied with the pencil, I got shade 72. It applies and blends nicely, and it doesn't overly color the eyebrow, creating a natural effect. I believe those who prefer precise, bold, and graphic eyebrows may not like it, but for those who appreciate naturalness and a maximum natural result, definitely yes.
Great pencil. It is soft and the color is excellent for dark blondes. It applies evenly and smoothly on the eyebrows.
The quality of the pencil is terrible. I have already bought the second one, but the first one was lying around for a while before I used it. I just bought this one and it's already gone: the lead just keeps breaking (you can even see the bends when you sharpen it!). It's a waste of money.
I have been using this pencil for about 3 years. At first, it may seem very hard and dry, but after several uses, the lead becomes softer (try to sharpen it a few millimeters when opening).
It holds up very well and doesn't slide!
It would be great if the manufacturer changed the brush, as it is not practical at all.
Great pencil. It is reasonably firm and draws clearly and beautifully. It is exactly what I need for my oily skin. It blends well. The color is nice. I got the shade number 73, coffee with ash.
I have never seen a worse pencil in my life. It is hard, dried out, and doesn't draw at all. I threw it in the trash.
I bought this pencil in shade 79, but it does not color at all. I am not sure how much pressure I need to apply to make it start coloring. The reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. However, my experience is quite the opposite - I am disappointed.
I have mixed feelings about this pencil. On the positive side, the colors are really cool and very natural. I purchased shade 73 (coffee with ash) and it was a perfect match. My eyebrows are light brown with a slightly ashy tone, and this pencil matches the color without any reddish undertones. So, the great color selection and natural shades are a big plus.
Another advantage is the price and the fact that it lasts a long time. This pencil is budget-friendly and doesn't run out quickly. I previously had a Maybelline pencil with a thin lead and a greasy texture that barely lasted a month.
Now, onto the negatives. Firstly, it is not waterproof at all. It's hard to even call it long-lasting. I have oily skin, so if I start sweating or if there's any excess shine on my face, the pencil smudges and disappears.
Secondly, you need to sharpen the lead very carefully because it's difficult to shape your brows with thick lines.
Lastly, it seems to harden on the surface, so when you first take it for use, it doesn't draw well until it warms up.
My overall impression is ambiguous, but I was drawn to the color and price. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again because I doubt it will withstand heat. However, overall, it's a decent pencil for its price.
I purchased this pencil based on the reviews and I haven't regretted it. It's exactly what I've been searching for. The quality is excellent and the color 73 is perfect. Before this, we only bought expensive pencils. This was my first time taking a risk, and it paid off.
Very firm. I got size 73. The color is not bad, it matches what was advertised. The brush is also firm, it doesn't blend well, but it does wipe off. When you apply it, small particles from the pencil remain. I give it 2 stars solely for the color match. Delivery - Thank you for the gift with the order. Why isn't there free courier delivery in the city anymore?
Overall, it's not what I expected. I bought shade 76, which looks fine on my hand or paper, but on my eyebrows it has a reddish tone. It's very dry, irritates my skin, and leaves clumps. I regret buying it. Instead, I could have bought 2 Bogenia pencils for the same price, which I actually did later on. Bogenia pencils have all wearable shades without any redness and are also suitable for fair-skinned girls.
I really liked the pencil, it is reasonably firm and the color 73 matched well with my brown hair, as I don't like brown tones. It's actually closer to gray. The only downside I noticed later on is the absence of a brush.
This is a great pencil. It is not greasy, but rather dry, and it draws easily. It works perfectly for filling in and finishing the tips of my good brows. There are some drawbacks though, as there may be clumps left somewhere or it may appear darker in certain areas, but all of this can be easily fixed by combing through the brows. Considering the price, I don't consider these to be significant drawbacks. Additionally, it is very economical as one pencil lasted me about a year with almost daily use!
Durable and well-positioned.
I really liked the pencil and I'm thinking of ordering more in the future.
I bought this product based on the reviews and I regret it. The pencil is very hard and scratches the skin. I bought it in shade 75, expecting it to match my usual light brown hair, but it turned out to be strangely reddish and dark. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews.
I have shade - coffee with milk 76. The color matched, but the pencil itself is not that great. It is indeed a bit stiff, just as mentioned in the reviews. I won't buy it again.
My favorite eyebrow pencil. I have dark brown hair, so I choose the color 75 and my eyebrows look amazing with it. It's not too dark, it looks natural. It's not too soft either, so if I need a darker color, I just apply more. It sharpens well, just one turn and it's sharp. I might try the red one too.
The color is wonderful, but it is a bit difficult to apply because it is very hard.
I really like it, I'm buying it for the second time. 73.
This pencil is great. It is dry and works well.
Price, color, and quality are excellent. It is very long-lasting, stays on all day, and has a beautiful natural color. I definitely recommend it.
Thank you, I am satisfied with the quality!
