Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 Foundation

I have been searching for a cream like this for a long time. Finally! It is difficult to find a foundation for my oily, problematic skin that can effectively conceal without looking like a mask. This cream is capable of doing just that. I am pleasantly surprised with the results. The only downside is that the manufacturers didn't bother to include a dispenser. If they had, this cream would be perfect. Nonetheless, there has to be some imperfection, right?

One of the best foundations I have ever used. If you need full coverage (not for everyday use), then I only use this one, but make sure to moisturize the skin beforehand with a cream. If you don't need such heavy coverage, you can mix it with your other foundation or BB cream. I got the shade 1n2, I have fair skin but not porcelain white. It covers skin imperfections very well, to the point where concealer is no longer necessary.

It feels very tight on the face (despite moisturizing it nicely) and is strongly felt. It feels like plaster, it effectively hides imperfections, but it doesn't look natural. It might be okay for certain events, but for everyday use, I prefer products that don't look like a mask. I probably won't buy it again, I fell for the recommendations on TikTok)))

I give a rating of 5 for durability and color because it effectively covers all the pores. However, I have to give it a rating of 3 because it slightly feels on the face. I chose the shade 1n2, which is a light-medium color without any yellow undertones.

The foundation arrived quickly, but without the plastic film on the packaging and the protective membrane between the foundation and the cap. It is unclear what is inside, and even if the product is correct, I don't know how long the foundation has been open. I ordered it as a gift for my sister, and she received a dispenser from the same brand, which was even packaged. I am very disappointed and have separately written a complaint letter, expecting a replacement for the proper product. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation in all the years of using makeup services.

Dense, covers everything! It really lasts. For perfect coverage with dry skin, you really have to work at it. The skin preparation should be thorough. Applying it quickly to a washed face and running off won't work. All flakes will be clearly visible. Therefore, for dry skin - only proper cleansing, nourishment, and then the beauty will come.

This is an excellent foundation that surpasses any mass-market product. I apply it quickly with a damp RT sponge in a thin layer, and it goes on beautifully, giving my skin a flawless appearance, almost like it has been photoshopped. I have oily skin in the T-zone, but even at the end of the day, it stays in place like it's my natural skin, while other foundations just turn into a greasy mess on my nose after a few hours. The shade is slightly off for me; I need something a bit lighter for winter, but somehow the foundation still adapts and my face looks good. I'm attaching swatches for fair-skinned individuals like myself, as I personally found it helpful when trying to find the right shade. I highly recommend this product, I don't want anything else now except Estée Lauder. ❤️

This product is too long-lasting, it can only be removed with hydrophilic oil and I can't even blend it in time. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with the color.

I really liked the cream. Shade 1 N2 doesn't make my skin look yellow or pink. It's absolutely great! But I think it might be a bit too light for summer.

But there is one downside, I have normal skin that tends to get oily, and after washing it off, I couldn't moisturize my face for 2 hours. It felt like a desert. Although this is understandable, you need to prepare and moisturize your skin beforehand. In conclusion, this cream is definitely great, although maybe not for everyday use. It requires prior preparation, but it is worth it.

I had high hopes for this product, but I didn't like it. It applies like a mask, and if there is any dryness, everyone will notice it. Plus, you have to buy the dispenser separately. So, based on a recommendation, I bought a foundation from Eisenberg. When it ran out, I still decided to order this one. And what a disappointment it was. On the positive side (for some people): it mattifies well, and the liquid format is great. But I liked Eisenberg much more; with it, you don't have to jump through hoops to look decent. Even when applied with fingers, the result is good, plus it has a higher SPF protection. When I run out of Estee, I will buy Eisenberg again. That's true love.

I have been using this foundation for several years and I am completely satisfied. I have combination skin, so it sometimes feels tight, but that issue is easily resolved with proper care. If you have suitable skincare, then everything is fine. It has never streaked, smudged, or melted even in +40 degrees heat! I mostly apply it with my fingers, but if I want a lighter coverage, I use a damp sponge and it goes on super smoothly. I've read reviews about the color not being suitable, but that's a personal preference. I chose the color from Brocard and I always order it from the makeup website because the price is much lower and they often include gifts, which is nice. I also bought the Estée Lauder Futurist foundation, but I didn't like it at all. It washed off with the rain in autumn. But again, that's a personal preference. Everyone has their own preferences.

The cream is definitely not suitable for large pores. It horribly emphasizes them, as well as fine wrinkles. It sits on the face like a heavily powdered mask. Additionally, personally, it started to melt after 20 minutes of walking to work in the T-zone areas, and it is practically impossible to fix it.

P.S. I applied it on well-moisturized skin. Then, I tried mixing it with another cream based on someone's advice. Mixing it with the cream worked better, but I don't plan on doing it every day. It's too complicated and time-consuming for just a foundation. Mixing it with different shades every day is also unrealistic. This is the best foundation for me. It evens out my skin tone, unlike other foundations that are somewhat translucent and don't really conceal imperfections. This foundation makes my skin look flawless.

The foundation is really cool, it stayed on my face all day, with a perfect finish, and it doesn't leave any stains. HOWEVER, I made a mistake with the shade, 1N2 is super yellow. It gives a yellow-brown undertone to my not-so-snow-white skin, and no matter how much I blend, the difference in tone with my neck is significant.

The foundation is really nice. Previously, I had been using Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, but this one is more long-lasting and provides better matte coverage. However, I didn't quite get the shade right. 1N2 Ecru is too light for me. But overall, I liked it.

The foundation is amazing! The main challenge is finding the right shade because many tones are dark and yellow, and if you choose a slightly lighter one, it becomes too pale, like a geisha. But if you find your perfect match, it looks really good! I think this is already my fourth purchase in order to find my shade. It should be applied with a damp sponge and distributed evenly. It dries very quickly, so you need to apply it fast. It's best to lightly powder it with a weightless veil powder, like aurglas, otherwise it can feel heavy. But if you do everything correctly, it gives a really beautiful complexion!
