Not long-lasting, not lingering...

I first bought a sample in 2004. I ordered again on this website a few days ago. The scent is the same. It doesn't linger for long, but after a couple of hours, a pleasant final note remains, which can be felt at a close distance. This is very important to me. I purchased a 100ml bottle and I am extremely satisfied with the product. It is of high quality. They also sent me five more samples, so I will order something else again.

Scent is identical, but it completely lacks longevity. I bought it as a gift, but it turned out to be disappointing.

I ordered two packages of perfume, but they are not long-lasting at all! We have used these fragrances many times before and know how long they usually last. It's very disappointing.

The scent doesn't last at all. I applied your product on one hand and a product from another store on the other hand. Your product completely disappeared after 30 minutes, while the scent from the other store's product was still noticeable for a long time. This has never happened before, I am very disappointed.

However, it can be interesting to draw certain conclusions by reading between the lines and filtering out pure mental criticism, which can actually help in assessing the fragrance.
I'm not a perfume maniac, I don't check batch codes, and, sorry, I'm not even interested in where to find this miracle and for what purpose. To check for authenticity, an air-tight cap and a well-made bottle are enough for me. I won't go into detail about the bouquet and the notes, as I perceive them as a whole.
Well, what else can a person share with you, for whom the benchmark of men's perfumery is still the "Edgars" cologne from "dzintarz", which was given as a gift by a beloved girl a hundred years ago... That's why I've been searching for that same scent all my life. And with the stubbornness of a ram, I keep buying something new each time, just to have even a rough similarity in terms of scent and longevity (even though the lowest bar is colognes) reminding me of that same "edgars".
And finally, it seemed to be IT!!!))
And my wife confirmed: "mmm, yes, very similar!" (she was the one who gave me that Riga bouquet back then)
But it's just a tiny bit off...
I'm always delighted by what I call the "magic of the first night"... That moment when you open the bottle right after the purchase and spray a little on your wrist. It's truly magical because the wrist really resonates brightly and even the next day. But then something happens, either my nose gets used to it, or the longevity is really low, a bit disappointing, but not too much. According to the store's reviews, you can always find this "mystical" zero longevity in perfumes, whether they cost five or ten thousand in the price tag))
To be honest, if the scent could last at least ten hours (I understand that this is a fantastic desire), I would stay with this incredibly delicious perfume until the end of my days))
As for the store and the service, I have no complaints, everything is at a high level... I've probably been coming here for ten years already.

I always buy this water. The order was delivered quickly. The price was 1272 UAH, and there was a discount. The packaging and bottle used to be slightly different before, maybe the manufacturer has changed it. But I hope it's still the original product.

The fragrance is pleasant, masculine, and long-lasting. After a few hours, the scent unfolds and becomes deeper, softer, and more pleasant. The perfume remains noticeable on the body for approximately eight hours.

I gifted this to my boyfriend for his 30th birthday, based on the reviews. However, the scent clearly seems more suitable for men over 40. It lasts well and has a subtle sweetness afterwards. But he doesn't particularly love it and doesn't use it often. That's how it is.

I ordered it from the EU and it took exactly one week to arrive. Yesterday, I picked it up and noticed that the code indicated the year 2021 and the batch code was 1v01. These symbolic numbers proclaim that this masterpiece from Givenchy is always the first. This statement is made consciously, after careful consideration, and based on years of experience with this fragrance since the first days of its existence. I have been using it for a long time, until they made some changes, which, despite what anyone might say, did happen. I cannot say that it has become worse, but it lacks a certain sweetness that it used to have. As a result, the scent has become cooler and more citrusy, with the woody notes barely noticeable (at least to my personal perception). However, its longevity as a toilet water is exceptional. The one I picked up yesterday from the EU (it came from Poland) lasted around 5 hours until I fell asleep, and even in the morning, when I woke up at 6 o'clock, I could still clearly smell it without any fading, despite having taken a shower before going to bed. Therefore, its longevity is on par with the allure sport from Chanel, which is quite pleasing. I must admit that the sprayer on the bottle is not the best, it is more like a water pipe. So, as I did before, I removed the top plastic part and replaced it with the sprayer from another Givenchy Gentleman Only Absolute bottle (which has a slightly sweet and suitable scent for colder weather), creating a makeshift solution, if you will. When sprayed properly, the fragrance gradually unfolds over time. After two or three hours, the initial bitterness disappears, and a certain woody sweetness, reminiscent of the original version, slowly emerges, accompanied by a distinct citrusy note. Overall, I would rate the scent a solid four out of five, as it lacks the enchanting touch it used to have. Last year, I received a gift bottle of 50ml, which looked like the original, but I didn't check the code and simply discarded the box in disappointment, realizing that they had ruined the legend beyond recognition. That gift bottle was not long-lasting at all, as it disappeared completely from both my skin and the air within a couple of hours. I have no idea where it was purchased or who sold it, as it was clearly a counterfeit, which is why I didn't care and ended up pouring it everywhere, in the car, at home, wherever. On the other hand, this water from Makeup is an original masterpiece to the power of 14, and in my opinion, it even has some slight differences compared to those from Ukrainian warehouses. The package arrived adequately packaged, without any signs of damage or tampering. Everything was clearly organized in the delivery tube, with two shakes and on the third one, the process was complete. In conclusion, I highly recommend this store, as this is not my first purchase from them. You can confidently order anything that interests you, as everything is handled by civilized and knowledgeable individuals.
