The nail file is practically indestructible. The trimmer is great, even after 3 years it is still sharp enough to trim the softened cuticles and skin. The cover on the trimmer does not come off. The nail file comes in a semi-transparent soft case, which I use to store it, and it hasn't torn in 3 years.
