It can also be used in an irrigator (it should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:5). It is recommended to rinse the mouth and then spit out a couple of times to prevent chlorhexidine from entering the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring the preservation of the normal microflora. It is a highly effective product for oral cavity, gums, and preventing hidden sources of cavities in interdental spaces.
Just like most mouthwashes, this one also stings horribly and has a taste and aftertaste that makes you want to rinse with water afterwards. Overall, it does its job, but it doesn't have any special qualities and you could probably buy something cheaper.
