BeYu Velvet Mat Foundation Mattifying Foundation

I'm 53, and my skin tends to be oily in the T-zone and somewhat dry on the cheeks. I generally don't use powder, and not all foundations suit me. However, the BeYu Velvet Mat Foundation is absolutely perfect for me and my favorite! I prep my face with a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. I apply the foundation with my fingers, using just a tiny amount on my fingertips—one light pump is enough, as it's easy to dispense too much. I dot it onto my face and spread it along the massage lines. The consistency is liquid and spreads easily without leaving streaks. It quickly transforms into a velvety finish, leaving my skin looking fresh and flawless until I remove my makeup. My skin stays neither dry nor oily throughout the day! I really love it! I choose "tan" shades, and this time I bought the 16th shade at a promotional price of 444 UAH.

I didn't like it at all; it doesn't cover imperfections well, and it makes my oily skin even shinier. My favorite was the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mattifying Mousse, but unfortunately, it was discontinued, and I haven't found a replacement yet.

For those with normal skin, this is a great option to even out your complexion and reduce shine. I used to select this product in-store and had shade 18, which worked well for summer. However, it was too dark for me during fall, winter, and spring. I ordered shade 17 this time—although I could go even lighter, I am quite satisfied with it.

Hello! I've been using BeYu for several years, and I can honestly say it's the best foundation I've ever had. I'm well over 50, and it does a great job of evening out my skin tone and concealing imperfections. I have fair skin, and shades No. 22 and No. 18 suit me perfectly and provide excellent mattifying coverage. Shade No. 17 is too light, while No. 16 is a bit too dark for me and would be better suited for tanned or darker skin tones. Thank you so much, MAKEUP!!!

The best foundation ever!!!

Which shade of this foundation would be suitable for my light, slightly pale skin?

The product didn't work for me. I chose shade 17. I'm 27 years old with very fair and slightly problematic skin. The color looks unnatural, especially in daylight, and provides weak coverage. It doesn't last at all. I also tried a friend's Lumene Matt Control Oil-Free Foundation in shade 01 and realized it's better in every way. Plus, it's almost half the price if you buy it online. In regular retail stores, Be Yu products are ridiculously overpriced.

I chose shade number 17 and I highly recommend it. It mattifies very well without creating a mask-like effect. The shade is a natural beige. It leaves the skin feeling really velvety. I'm a fan of Beyu products; their cosmetics are truly high quality.

I didn't quite get the right shade, but it performs its intended functions well.
