Soothing Alginate Mask for Sensitive Skin Green Pharm Cosmetic Face Mask

The mask was delivered quickly, and then the adventures began. It was difficult to prepare, and when applied, it spread all over the face. I accidentally applied it to my eyes (which I wasn't supposed to do), but the skin after the mask was smooth and silky.

This is a good mask.

The mask is amazing, it really evens out the complexion, reduces redness caused by the cold, and refreshes the skin. It is pleasant and doesn't have a strong smell, it feels like it moisturizes the skin.

The secret is to prepare your face and everything else as instructed. Mix the powder with water and stir for a minute until it thickens. Then quickly apply a thick layer on your face with your hand or a brush (avoid the eyelids, as it can be unpleasant to remove from that area). This way, it won't drip and everything will be fine. If you don't apply it on your neck, you can confidently divide it into 2 or even 3 applications.

Good mask. I liked it. I will get more.

I must say that this is my first experience using alginate masks. I have never encountered them before, so everything in this niche is fresh and amazing for me.

I chose the Alginate Mask for sensitive skin with soothing action from Green Pharm Cosmetic Face Mask in the smallest version - 25 grams/0.88 oz. (there is also a 250 ml option).

Despite having combination skin, I had no doubts that this mask would suit me, as it promises to soothe and moisturize even irritated skin.

The product formula is developed based on only 4 (but what!) ingredients: alginate, blueberry extract, vitamin C, and chamomile essential oil.

The manufacturer promises not only a lifting effect but also a reduction in the appearance of couperose (with regular use of the mask), narrowing of blood vessels, and improvement in skin tone for individuals with sensitive skin.

The instructions state that the 25g packet is intended for single use. This is what let me down. Can you imagine how much product you get when you mix it (and alginate swells significantly!) with 75 ml of water (at 20°C)?!

Surprised, I still applied this heavy mass (well, it's said to be the norm) to my face. Do not repeat my mistakes! The mask will tighten your skin, causing discomfort.

Also, avoid applying the mask along the hairline or before unplanned hair removal procedures, as you won't be able to remove it easily.

However, you can't apply the alginate mask in a thin layer, otherwise, you won't be able to peel it off.

In reality, a thick layer served me well. After 20 minutes, the mask solidified and I removed it like a silicone mold from my face. But experienced alginate users in the comments claimed that they could use a single sachet for 3-5 times. So, keep that in mind.

What scared me was the smell. Initially, it was unpleasant to me, but someone might actually like it (natural product, we all saw the ingredients, so we should understand and be prepared), I just probably haven't gotten used to it.

It smelled strongly of the sea, or rather, of seaweed that covers the beach after the tide and heats up in the sun.

These are all minor things that can easily be overlooked compared to the effect of the mask - everything instantly smoothes out, the skin tone evens out, pores shrink, and the skin is soothed.

The mask is great and the price is good.

The mask is good, but it should not be left on for too long because it becomes difficult to remove and can harm the skin. Also, avoid applying it to hair. One packet is enough for three uses.

The mask is good. The price and quality are appropriate. It is much better than the alginate mask from another Ukrainian company called Chistotel. This mask mixes better, is easier to apply, and the proportions are clearly stated in the instructions. It is easy to remove after use. After using the mask, my skin feels very moisturized. My skin is dry and prone to irritation. The irritation disappears after using the mask, as it claims to have a soothing effect. I have bought it multiple times before and will continue to do so in the future.
