The fragrance of Penhaligon's Sartorial embodies the refined, fashionable, and impeccable image of a true gallant dandy. The entire composition exudes an atmosphere of luxury. The owner of this eau de toilette is destined to attract attention, as its fougère scent serves as an invisible calling card, silently conveying charm and a unique magnetic allure.
The top note unfolds with the sound of sweet citruses: orange and mandarin. The "heart" is captivated by the interplay of fiery, spicy cardamom, intoxicating, dizzying nutmeg, and warm, cozy, slightly bitter rosemary. The enchanting woody notes, along with exotic sandalwood, lend their essence to the fragrance's trail.

Two words: worthy and quality.
At first, there is a note of heated metal, similar to the legendary YSL Rive Gauche pour homme by Jacques Cavallier. It was during that not-so-distant era that the great master perfumer, Jacques Cavallier (Louis Vuitton), put everything in its place, creating a fragrance composition resembling a dangerous razor and enticing like the scent of a sexual aristocratic man.
In Rive Gauche, this metallic note is surrounded by spices and rather reminds me of freshly ironed men's underwear, while here I sense a slightly animalistic note of damp wool under the iron. Later on, RG continues to sound fresh and spicy, while in Sartorial, a sweetish leather appears. Pleasant, unusual. If someone is looking for a replacement for the discontinued RG in the metal tube, I would say that this is it. If I were to characterize the fragrance, it would be an excellent lavender-honey fougère perfume with a touch of spices and suede, giving it a kind of piquancy. A magnificent top-tier men's luxury fragrance, but unfortunately, not niche. Although Bertrand Duchaufour has excellently perfected Jacques Cavallier's creation! Superb!)
It is very convenient to only publish positive reviews, well done!
The scent is genuinely well crafted. It is clear and sharp, truly on par with high-quality perfumes. The longevity is impressive, and it performs efficiently. Thank you.
When I made this purchase, I thought it would be a scam, considering how cheap it was compared to other stores. But no! I have been using this perfume for a long time and it is original! Thank you so much for existing, stores like yours!
Dear expensive costume fragrance, it is more suitable for evening wear.
Thank you for the promptness, MakeUp team. This perfume is not ordinary. It starts to reveal itself about 20 minutes after applying it to the body. It is completely different from the commonly encountered Gucci, Dior, Dolce, etc. I would say that this perfume is vintage, noble, and rather requires a suit than casual clothing. I bought it on a whim, but I am not disappointed. On the contrary, it made me want to test something else from this brand.
The scent is very intriguing. On me, it reminds me of Fahrenheit, while on my husband, it has a slightly different but equally pleasant leather fragrance. It is particularly suited for cool weather.
Today I received a box for my husband. I sprayed some on my wrist to smell it, and what I heard was 80% Fahrenheit with a warm addition of something. I let my husband test it and he had the same first impression that it's Fahrenheit. In short, the fragrance is superb and it lasts for a long time, with huge plus points. I also want to thank the store for their promptness and cool gift. Once again, I am convinced that becoming your customer was not in vain.
This perfume is very beautiful. My husband and I both use it. It is simply incredible! One of my favorite scents.
I like the smell. There's nothing more to add...
Expensive, intellectual, and seductive fragrance. It makes you want to inhale it over and over again! That's why I sometimes use it myself. It is suitable for any age, but probably not for all types of men. It is best enjoyed in cool seasons of the year.
For men who are over 40 years old.
1. Aldehydes + citrus notes.
2. The heart notes consist of spices, wax, and honey, with a hint of some metallic element.
3. Towards the end, it has a woody fragrance. There is no distinct sandalwood scent, and if it is present, it is barely noticeable. The fragrance is expensive and very well-made, from the packaging to the perfume itself!
I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he is absolutely thrilled with the scent, just like myself :) The fragrance is very beautiful, multifaceted, masculine, and incredibly interesting. The initial notes are very intense, but after a short period of time, they give way to delicate and subtle undertones that constantly make me lean towards my beloved's neck and inhale the scent...
In this price range, this fragrance is probably the best. It has the gentlest scent, with a subtle hint of citrus and luxurious spices.
I would categorize this fragrance as "unisex". In the female version, it is better to apply it sparingly. The ozone and metallic notes are distinctly noticeable. The trail notes vary depending on the weather and temperature. It has good longevity, especially when applied to clothing. On a man, it sounds more complete - with its entire symphony. It complements any style of clothing, except for the Adidas sporty style.
