In cases of hypothermia and colds, use as a warming agent by applying it to the skin with massaging movements.
This cream is a great alternative to traditional mustard plasters. It doesn't always provide consistent warmth for me, but overall, I liked it.
I had a severe allergic reaction to this balm. I've tried various similar balms before without any issues, but this one was a disaster. Within five minutes, the skin on my legs and palms started itching so badly that I felt like tearing it off. Blisters and large red patches appeared. I've never had allergies before, so this was a first for me. It took me about 30 minutes to scrub the balm off my skin! I feel like suing the manufacturers! I have no complaints about the Makeup website, as they have always been prompt and polite. I'm leaving this review to warn others about this unpleasant experience.
I really like the Mustard Balm. I bought it at the pharmacy and mainly use it for my kids when they have colds. I appreciate its warming effect—I apply it to their back and chest instead of using mustard plasters, and I also put it on their feet.
One thing to note is that my hand itches after rubbing it in, so make sure to wash your hands afterward.
The product didn't work for my feet—it didn't have a warming effect, just redness and terrible itching. Now I'm sitting here trying to wash it off my feet and hands, which are also itching terribly because I applied the balm with them.
Of course, everyone is different, but I'm not allergic to eucalyptus or mustard—I use products containing them without any issues. But this was just awful.
Overall, though, I do like products from this brand.
Personally, this product didn't work for me. I applied it to my chest to relieve a cough, but it didn't provide any warming effect—just a strong redness that lasted several hours after washing it off (even though I rinsed the balm off immediately). I don't have a mustard allergy, as I've always tolerated mustard plasters well. So, I'll stick with pepper patches and try using the mustard balm on my feet instead (I have poor circulation, so my extremities are always cold).
I've been buying this mustard balm for several years now. It's a great remedy for coughs, warming like mustard plasters without the need to wash it off or worry about burns. Sometimes, when I feel a cold coming on, I apply it before heading to work and it works effectively. It works just as well as mustard plasters, but is gentler. I highly recommend it.
The cream turned out to be a useless purchase for me. It didn't have any warming effect, and about 10 minutes after applying it, I experienced intense itching that made me want to wash it off immediately. It might be an allergic reaction to the ingredients. I definitely won't be buying it again, even though it has a very pleasant scent.
I used it all winter. It's great for treating chest colds and for preventing issues after being chilled, as well as for warming up the back. It has a pleasant scent compared to other mustard balms, and the consistency is just right—not too thick or too thin. Overall, it's perfect! :)
Good day! A few years ago, my doctor recommended this balm as a supplement for treating my cough, and since then, it has always been in my medicine cabinet. It works great for colds!
