The Ukrainian brand "Yaka" delights all fans of natural cosmetics with a new shampoo-conditioner designed to combat hair breakage! Its pleasant texture, light natural fragrance, and high effectiveness will leave you no choice but to fall in love with this wonderful product!
The shampoo's formula is based on natural sea buckthorn oil, renowned for its powerful healing properties. Thanks to this, the shampoo strengthens hair remarkably, nourishes it, and provides gentle care from roots to tips. In addition to sea buckthorn, the formula includes extracts of burdock root, birch leaves, and burdock oil, which help eliminate scalp dryness (including dandruff), restore hair structure, and even combat split ends. The shampoo thoroughly cleanses the hair, keeping it fresh and clean for a longer time, allowing you to wash your hair less frequently than you're used to.

Work a small amount of the product into a lather, apply it to wet hair, rinse thoroughly with water, and repeat if necessary.

For almost five years, I've been using only sulfate-free shampoos, and the ones from YAKA are among my favorites. I used to exclusively buy their botanical series shampoos (the ones with twigs inside), but I decided to try this one for the first time. Typically, natural shampoos don't lather much, but this one doesn't lather at all. It feels more like a conditioner on my hair, yet it cleans thoroughly without tangling or drying it out. Overall, it takes a bit of getting used to!
This shampoo-conditioner didn't work for my fine, colored, combination hair. After rinsing, my hair felt dry and tangled. However, the series of shampoos in transparent bottles suited my hair very well.
I first ordered this shampoo back in 2017 and took it with me on a beach trip. Both my husband and I were pleased with it, so I continued to purchase it periodically afterwards. Over time, I noticed its "evolution"—or rather, I should say "degradation." In 2017, this shampoo was fantastic! It was one of the best shampoos I had ever tried. It made my hair soft without needing a conditioner after exposure to seawater, had a pleasant scent, didn't cause my hair to become greasy quickly, eliminated dandruff, and had an orange color.
Over time, the shampoo lightened and is now almost white, and its positive effects have diminished with each purchase. The last time I ordered it, the experience was dreadful. It left my hair dry and straw-like, caused breakouts on my scalp, and brought back dandruff and itching! This wasn't just my experience; my husband noticed the negative changes too. Reading reviews after 2017, it seems like everyone is getting a different version of the shampoo. While experiences may vary, the formula has clearly changed, and not for the better. This is evident in its appearance, smell, consistency, and, most importantly, its effectiveness. What a disappointment...
It didn't work for me. It didn't make things worse, but I've seen more effective products. In my opinion, this is the least successful among Yaki products. It runs out very quickly and doesn't lather well. I've been using sulfate-free products for a year, and this one is the least effective in terms of lathering. I'm not satisfied.
I do not recommend this product! It's not economical—I used half the bottle in just one week! It doesn't clean well and makes my hair tangled. My hair even started falling out.
The manufacturer is misleading customers! This shampoo contains silicone polyquaternium, even though the label claims it is silicone-free.
Here's my first time writing such a negative review! I didn't buy it here, but I saw the high rating and felt compelled to share my experience. This shampoo is a complete disaster. Both my boyfriend and I started getting dandruff after using it! Our hair became extremely dry and brittle right away. Even regular L'Oréal or Dove shampoos work better than this one. Think twice before purchasing.
I bought this shampoo based on reviews. It's the first time I've purchased such an inexpensive shampoo, and after using it a few times, I can confidently say it won't be the last. My hair feels soft and silky, and I'm very pleased with the results. I wasn't bothered by the fact that it doesn't lather much. It's usually hard for me to find a suitable shampoo because of my sensitive scalp, but I experienced no irritation or dryness with this one. Everything's great!
When I first used this shampoo, I was horrified. It barely lathered, left my hair feeling stiff, and had a strange smell. However, I knew that my hair might need some time to adjust to this type of shampoo. After a few uses, it became perfect. It lathers wonderfully, doesn't leave any scent on my hair, and even washes oily hair clean in one go. The best part is that my hair doesn't get greasy as quickly anymore. I no longer need to wash it every day or every other day; now, I wash it only twice a week.
The product applies well and rinses out easily too! It doesn't lather much (which is expected), but I didn't like that I needed to wash my hair again the next day.
The shampoo doesn't lather well, but that's expected since it has a natural base. However, after washing, my hair becomes so tangled that it's nearly impossible to comb through. If you manage to do so, it dries smooth and shiny. I won't be purchasing it again.
Sea buckthorn is my absolute favorite!
I don't understand why anyone cares about shampoo lather. It’s always a topic of concern.
This shampoo is the best! The conditioner is just as good!
It cleans hair thoroughly. For thick hair, you can apply it strand by strand and rinse it out the same way.
I think people with colored hair might not like it as much or find it suitable.
Before discovering Yaka, I used to suffer from dandruff and itchy scalp caused by regular shampoos.
Yaka's tar shampoo completely cured me of the itchiness I got from other shampoos.
After that, I just switched to this brand's shampoos.
I've tried them all over the past six years!
I really love these shampoos and conditioners.
I really liked it. My hair feels soft, and there's no itchiness like with other products. I'll definitely buy it again.
This shampoo is great overall and has a good formula! However, it does contain microplastics. If the company could eliminate microplastics from their products, it would be unbeatable!
I expected it wouldn't lather well, given its ingredients, but I wasn't prepared for just how little it actually lathers. Essentially, it doesn't lather at all. However, once my hair dries, it feels incredibly nice. It's heavy, not dry or prickly. Even without using conditioner, my hair is in excellent condition.
I really like this product. When you first apply it, it feels like the shampoo isn't lathering or cleaning at all. I tried to wash my scalp and rinsed it off without much excitement. However, once my hair dried, I was thrilled. My hair felt completely clean, and I could go without washing it for about four days, which is a long time for me. The scent is subtle, and the consistency is similar to other shampoos. Overall, I'll definitely be buying this again. It turned out to be amazing, even though it didn't seem that way initially.
Terrible shampoo. A few years ago, when I used it, the formula and consistency were much better. However, the last time I bought it, it was awful. After washing my hair, I experienced irritation, and the shampoo itself was as watery as can be. I ended up throwing it in the trash. I wouldn't recommend this shampoo to anyone. The manufacturer has clearly lowered the quality of the product.
Here's a coherent translation of the product review:
"This neutral shampoo works well and doesn't cause any allergic reactions. However, I didn't notice any effect from the conditioner on my curly hair."
Before writing a review, it's important to understand that not every shampoo will work for everyone. I've tried many different shampoos, and this one caught my attention with its natural ingredients and affordable price. I've been using Yaka shampoos for about a year and a half now, and I'm very satisfied!
The shampoo itself is good, but I wouldn't recommend buying it through make-up retailers. I've encountered several instances where the shampoos delivered are so diluted that they resemble water. This isn't just disappointing, it's also concerning, as consumer complaints can lead to investigations by regulatory bodies.
Unfortunately, this Yak shampoo didn't work for me at all. Even with conditioner, my hair feels dry and sticks out like wire.
All the Yaki shampoos are awesome! I've bought this one twice. Even without using a conditioner, my hair looks great.
I'm pleased with this product. My sensitive scalp feels great after using it. It cleanses well, and my hair is soft afterward.
I liked the shampoo; it lathers well.
This is an ordinary shampoo, nothing unpleasant about it. At least it doesn't irritate the scalp or cause itching.
Terrible shampoo with an unpleasant scent.
I didn't like it. It uses a lot of product and leaves my hair feeling unwashed.
The shampoo is great; it cleans well and has a pleasant scent. For a natural product, I’d say it lathers quite adequately, and I didn't notice any significant difference compared to others. I took it with me to the seaside, and my main concern was that it would soften my hair after exposure to saltwater, and it handled that task perfectly. My husband liked it too and even suggested we order more, especially after hearing the price. Generally, you don't need a mask, conditioner, or balm with it, as my hair is easy to comb and feels soft without them—although this might depend on your hair type and preferences. Sometimes I use a mask with it, and sometimes I don't.
I am very careful when choosing a shampoo because my hair and scalp don't react well to chemicals like SLS. However, not all natural shampoos work for me either. This one is excellent, and I agree with the previous review that a mask would be a nice addition. The only minor downside is that it doesn't lather well, but as we know, natural products aren't supposed to foam like car wash soap.
Once again, I've realized that price doesn't always guarantee quality. This is a great shampoo; I've bought it before and I'm sure I'll buy it again. I have white, platinum hair, and this shampoo is just perfect for it. I wish there was a matching conditioner, but I haven't been able to find one.
Great for thick hair, cleans well.
This product really dries out my hair, so it didn't work for me. I prefer the daily use shampoo from this line.
This shampoo is definitely not suitable for those with thin and damaged hair, as it tends to be very drying. However, it does leave hair shiny and doesn't make it as oily as some other organic shampoos do.
I've bought this shampoo for the second time and will definitely order it again. I have long, uncolored, dry hair, and this shampoo works perfectly for me. I'm not sure why some people say it doesn't clean well; it effectively removes even the oils I apply before washing my hair. Yes, it hardly lathers, but that's typical of all natural shampoos.
I rarely write reviews about anything. However, not writing about this product feels like a crime! This shampoo is amazing! I've been using it exclusively for six months now. I've recommended it to all my friends, and they're thrilled too. I used to use White Mandarin, which has the same effect but is three times more expensive. I switched to Yaku and have no regrets. It lathers well, has a wonderful fragrance, and leaves my hair light, non-brittle, soft, and pleasant to the touch.
For those who say it doesn't clean well, they simply don't know how to use natural cosmetics. And for those who think shampoo usage depends on hair length, they don't know how to wash their hair properly at all.
I apply the shampoo to my scalp, not the hair, lather it up, and leave it on for three minutes (this isn't advisable for chemical shampoos, but it's necessary for natural ones because their gentle formulas need more time to dissolve oils and dirt). Then, I rinse and apply it again. You don't need to wash your hair directly—it's cleansed by the water and shampoo as it rinses out.
Back to the product itself—this shampoo is beyond praise! I'll be ordering it again and again!
The shampoo didn't impress me much. My scalp gets oily quickly and feels itchy.
The shampoo is terrible; it doesn't lather properly, and my hair feels like straw after using it. I do not recommend it.
My friend bought this shampoo. She said, "It's very good; I'll definitely buy more from this brand."
The shampoo is very good, it worked well for us, and we plan to order it again in the future.
I really liked the shampoo. It has a very pleasant scent. After using it, my hair feels soft and silky. It doesn't lather very well, but that's to be expected since it's sulfate-free.
This shampoo is excellent. It has a pleasant, subtle citrus scent that feels natural. The lather is very gentle and doesn't dry out the hair; in fact, it adds moisture. After washing, my hair feels light and shiny. My scalp feels fresh without any tightness or itching, unlike with sulfate shampoos. A big thank you to the makeup team!
I haven't come across a better shampoo yet! Honestly, it's amazing. It smells great and cleans effectively. There's no dandruff at all, and it washes long hair thoroughly if you apply it to the roots and then rinse! My hair feels nourished and fantastic! I'm very happy with it!
Great shampoo. It doesn't lather much, but it cleans thoroughly and rinses out easily. I'll definitely order it again.
With this product, my hair looks great even without a mask or conditioner. It doesn't provide much nourishment or hydration, as usual. However, compared to other organic options I've tried, it's my favorite so far.
This is a great shampoo. Due to its natural ingredients, it doesn't lather well, so you end up using more. It can leave hair a bit tangled and lacks softness, but after using a moisturizing mask, the hair becomes silky and easy to comb through.
The shampoo is good, though not perfect. It cleans thoroughly and leaves a squeaky clean feel. For me, it takes about three washes to completely remove coconut oil. However, unlike many other shampoos that don't suit me and cause dandruff, this one doesn't dry out my scalp.
I really liked the shampoo. It's not about how well it lathers or how much you need to use; the key thing is that it doesn't contain SLS. After using it, I don't experience the scalp itchiness that I get with other shampoos. I recommend it to anyone who has a similar issue. Thanks to the store for the super-fast delivery.
This is my first organic shampoo. I liked it overall. It doesn't lather as much as regular shampoos, but I don't see that as a downside. After using it, my hair doesn't get tangled and is easy to comb without needing extra products like sprays or conditioners. I've only used it once so far, so I can't say much more, but for a first impression, I'm happy with my purchase.
The product was perfect for my daughter, but I had an allergic reaction and my scalp became very itchy.
This shampoo is fantastic! I've been using it for a few months and absolutely love how it makes my hair look and feel.
The shampoo is good; it has a pleasant scent, cleans well, and lathers nicely. However, it slightly dries out the hair length and causes some tangling. I think it would be suitable for uncolored and normal hair. Thanks to the store for the quick delivery and the little gift! Wishing you prosperity!
The shampoo is not bad. It cleans the hair well, but that's about it, so I give it 4 stars.
I really like this product. After using it, my hair feels soft and shiny, and I can easily comb it without needing any conditioners or masks. It also has a very pleasant scent. However, it does get used up quickly; I personally need to lather up three times to get my hair squeaky clean. As for how quickly my hair gets dirty again, I haven't noticed any difference compared to other shampoos.
This shampoo and conditioner from the series worked well for my hair, which is dry at the ends and oily at the roots. The roots don't get greasy quickly, and my hair looks shiny. However, the shampoo is not very economical as it requires a lot for each use. Despite that, I recommend it because it worked for me. It has a pleasant scent and lathers like most products that claim to be eco-friendly.
My hair really liked it☺
Both my husband and I really liked it. It cleans hair well without drying out the skin or hair. The scent is pleasant. I will definitely order it again.
I'm very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to everyone! It cleans thoroughly and keeps my hair from getting oily for a long time. Using a conditioner after any shampoo is a must, and now my hair no longer gets tangled. It’s easy to brush through without any issues! This product is comparable to a shampoo priced at 500 UAH. Give it a try—you won't regret it!
The shampoo is disappointing. It seems like it cleans, but it feels like it doesn't. My hair feels rough and tangled afterward.
The shampoo has a nice fragrance and cleanses the hair well. However, after using it, my hair becomes too coarse, and even the conditioner from the same line doesn't help.
The product makes my hair a bit static, but overall, it's quite good. I usually don't like 2-in-1 products, but "Yaka" won me over.
