The Fin Du Monde perfume seems unreal. A fabrication, a piece of science fiction, something supernatural. Only a true genius could have thought to combine in one fragrance notes of black pepper, popcorn, and gunpowder. In its composition, fear, risk, and danger intertwine with the desire to live, to soak up sensations, to miss nothing, and to savor every minute of life. The planet Earth was promised many apocalypses, but fortunately, only one came true - Etat Libre d'Orange La Fin Du Monde, created by Quentin Bisch. In his interpretation, this momentous event acquired a certain toy-like, unreal quality, with a touch of American stylization.
The opening notes are airy popcorn, iris, gunpowder, and carrot seeds. The heart of the perfume is a composition of ambrette, cumin, styrax, and black pepper. The finishing notes are white freesia, vetiver, sesame, and sandalwood. This amazing perfume is impossible not to fall in love with from the first breath.
My rating
Despite the "scary" description, the scent is actually quite pleasant! The combination of popcorn and carrots turned out to be very tasty, especially for those with a sweet tooth.
The fragrance is quite unique, with hints of popcorn and caramel. It took me about two weeks to get used to it, and everyone around me was curious about the scent. After a month, I decided to take a break, but it only lasted a week before I returned to it. The fragrance is more suitable for spring or autumn (warmer weather).
