Do you want your eyeshadow to stay out of creases and maintain its vibrant color? Then you need the long-lasting Base Eye Shadow primer, crafted by the experts at the Czech company Dermacol. The primary purpose of this product is to ensure the longevity of any beauty product designed for eye makeup.
The primer features a thick, creamy texture based on silicone. It guarantees a smooth eyelid surface, reduces flakiness, absorbs excess oil, and creates a "platform" that enhances the adherence of eyeshadow to the skin. As a result, the eyeshadow applies evenly, distributes without blotches, and provides the most intense color.
Dermacol's primer enhances the durability of eye makeup. It prevents the formation of unsightly lines in creases where pigment can accumulate and keeps the eyeshadow from fading. The product ensures that the eyeshadow remains vivid—even at the end of the day, the color stays as bright and intense as when first applied.-
Before applying the eyeshadow, use an applicator or your fingertips to apply a small amount of primer to your eyelids and blend it evenly. Once the primer is dry, proceed with applying the eyeshadow.
I used to use the Artdeco base and was completely satisfied, but I love experimenting and based on the reviews, I chose this one. However... After the first use, I was shocked! I applied it as instructed - a small pea-sized amount and evenly blended it (it felt pleasant to the touch and had a neutral scent) and then applied eyeshadow. Literally 3 hours later, there was nothing left of the eyeshadow - it had creased. The next day, I decided to try a different approach - I applied the base and lightly powdered it, then applied eyeshadow. But it didn't make a difference in the longevity of my makeup. So, if you're thinking about which base to choose, go with Artdeco, whether it's a tester or the original - it will still do the best job!
I bought this primer in the Czech Republic. To be honest, this is my first primer and I have no idea how it compares to the Artdeco primer that everyone recommends. But for me, this primer did a good job. I applied a small dot and it didn't roll off, but evenly spread on my eyelid. The eyeshadows I used from the Freedom Makeup London Pro 12 Eyeshadow Palette are also not the most expensive ones. So, with a working schedule of up to 10 hours, my makeup will hold up well without needing any touch-ups.
I have dry skin. Before applying the eyeshadows, I only applied the primer without any creams, waited a couple of minutes for it to absorb, and continued...
