I am extremely disappointed, to say the least! I have previously purchased and used this foundation for several years, but my latest order turned out to be a shade N2 instead of N3. I still have the old packaging, which I ordered from here as well. Overall, the product no longer matches the designated numbers and shade.
It works well for winter. It effectively covers imperfections. It does give a shiny finish, though. However, the foundation itself has a strong yellow undertone on fair skin, so I don't use it. I found a heavier-textured foundation called Ingrid (through makeup) which will be lighter in shade.
The foundation is not bad, it is thick and covers imperfections such as spots and redness. It lasts quite a long time, around 5-6 hours. Unfortunately, it tends to clog pores in dry areas. Overall, it is suitable for winter, but it leaves a greasy shine and transfers onto clothing, even staining gel polish (I had a French manicure that turned yellow). However, if you wear it properly, avoid touching your face and clothes, I would recommend giving it a try.
This lightweight cream evens out the skin tone, although it doesn't fully conceal certain problems. It has a neutral scent, but the shade 00 is not suitable for very fair skin as it tends to appear yellowish. The finish is slightly dewy, but it's not a major issue, rather giving a subtle glow to the skin. Overall, it is excellent for evening out the complexion considering its price, but for more significant issues, it is advisable to look for a more concealing foundation.
First of all, this is not a must-have product; it is simply a foundation with a sticky base. One of its advantages is that it provides good coverage for acne, making it suitable for winter. However, it is not suitable for oily skin, unless you heavily powder afterwards.
Can you please advise me on which shade would be suitable for me if I have been using Maybelline Affinitone 14?
I have fair skin with a yellow undertone. The Duna shade matched well with my skin tone. The camera's color reproduction is not great, so I compared different shades from my wrist to my fingers: NYX Stay Matte 01 Ivory (sandy undertone, the lightest shade), Miyo Dune (jet beige undertone), Maybelline Fit Me 20 Ivory (yellowish undertone), BB Biolita (adjusts to skin tone but gives a brown color on the face, like dirt, doesn't cover anything), Uriage SPF (only suitable for oily skin, turns into a mess on dry skin, has sun protection and nourishing properties).
In conclusion, NYX Stay Matte provides good coverage and is long-lasting, but the downside is that it's expensive. Miyo is useless. I have dry skin everywhere, healthy with only small freckles, and very dry skin on my nose that tends to shine. If NYX can cover for an hour or two and leave a matte finish, this wonder product doesn't cover anything and leaves an instantly greasy shine. Even if you apply a ton of it, it starts to float, gets into all the pores, accentuates flakes, and everyone around asks, "What's that dirt on your nose?"
Additionally, the texture is pleasant, stretchy, and applies evenly. However, my dry skin absorbs it quickly, so it didn't work for me, unfortunately. It might slide on oily skin. I applied it over a makeup base and Nivea moisturizing cream, and the foundation slid and formed streaks. So, if your face is flawless and doesn't need makeup but you still want to apply something, it's okay.
This is a very good foundation. It has a lightweight texture and does not give a mask-like effect. It applies perfectly and surprisingly has a pleasant price. I have been using it for a long time.
This foundation is quite dense and has good coverage. It can even camouflage freckles and dark circles without the need for concealer. When applied with a brush, it blends out with a slightly thick layer. However, when applied this way, it tends to settle into fine lines under the eyes after a few hours. After 6 hours of wear, it is almost gone on the lower half of the face and about half remains on the forehead. If applied with fingers, it goes on in a thinner layer but still provides good coverage. It also settles into wrinkles less and lasts longer when applied with fingers. For summer, something lighter may be needed, but it is suitable for those who have something to camouflage during colder seasons. Considering its price, it is a very good option.
This is a fairly dense foundation. It effectively conceals freckles and dark circles without the need for concealer. However, when applied with a brush, it does not blend very well and appears thicker. When applied in this way, it tends to settle into fine lines under the eyes after a few hours, especially around 6 hours after application on the lower part of the face.
My favorite! It has a fine texture that perfectly evens out the color.
I didn't expect anything special, but this cream pleasantly surprised me. It applies smoothly and evens out the skin tone, hiding minor imperfections. Considering its price range, it is actually quite good.
Overall, it's not bad, it lasts long, but after just an hour, my skin starts to shine terribly...
The cream is alright. If you have problematic skin, it will work well for you. Personally, it's not for me since I don't need a heavy cream.
The foundation applies smoothly and does not create a mask-like effect on the face. However, this product did not work for me. After applying it, a terrible itch starts.
I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation. I have combination skin with breakouts, but this cream does not clog my pores and does not make my face shiny. However, it doesn't completely hide all imperfections, but I am still delighted with it! Thank you.
