The Polish brand of high-quality organic cosmetics, Ziaja, has developed a suntan lotion suitable for infants as young as 6 months. This dermatologically tested product is irritation-free and hypoallergenic, making it completely safe for your child's health.
The lotion effectively reflects ultraviolet rays, preventing their harmful effects on the skin. It helps to prevent sunburn and significantly extends the safe sun exposure time. The product left a mixed impression. I used it on myself, my 9-year-old daughter, and my 1-year-old son for a walk (it was cloudy, not very sunny, but we planned to be out for a long time).
In terms of sun protection, it was perfect. Our skin didn't get red, although without this product, my children's noses and shoulders would have been red.
However, my daughter had a terrible allergic reaction (rashes and swelling) in the areas where the product was applied. She is not allergic, and she has never had such a reaction before. My son and I had no issues.
If you purchase this product, make sure to do an allergy test on a small area of the skin.
It provides good protection, but the consistency is very thick, making it inconvenient to apply on a child. It may work well as a waterproof product. I won't buy it again specifically because of its greasiness.
We spent the whole day in the sun and didn't get sunburned at all. The only issue was that we only applied it to our faces and shoulders, so there were white spots where the product wasn't applied on our shoulders. Other than that, the product does its job well.
The product provides good protection, but I was not a fan of its thick consistency.
