I ordered this fragrance as a gift for my boyfriend. It is long-lasting and has a trail. I really like the scent, and sometimes I even use it myself.
I have ordered my third Montale fragrance, and this time I chose Intense Pepper. It is an incredibly beautiful scent. At first, black pepper takes the lead, it is so realistic that it feels like diving into a pepper shaker. However, after just 5 minutes, the pepper subsides and gives way to the zest of lemon and orange. And later on, woody notes and moss start to emerge. It is a magical fragrance. Hello, this fragrance is very vibrant and long-lasting.
My favorite among all Montale fragrances! I have tried many of them, some I have even bought again, but this one is luxurious! It may not appeal to fans of everyday scents. It starts with black pepper and ends with lime! Among the ones that I liked are Chocolate Creed, Mango Manga, and Soleil de Capri. Another interesting fact is that some Intense Pepper bottles arrived without any label, while others had labels. Out of all the ones I ordered with labels, it only happened three times.
I purchased the 20ml size and it is incredibly long-lasting with a strong sillage. The fragrance itself is a true gem, with a magnificent scent that is unisex but not overpowering. There is a distinct note of pepper that is clearly noticeable.

Beyond praise. After applying it to the skin, the nose was hit with black pepper. It hit powerfully, boldly, and audaciously. The scent was so realistic that my imagination drew a wooden pepper shaker with freshly ground spice. Mentally checked it off and went about my business. Time passed. Evening was approaching, but I still heard the pepper, although the citrus notes broke through the sharpness. It wasn't quite lemon, rather kumquat (and I would never confuse the scent of kumquat). And then I realized that I fell in love with it. Pepper scents are unique. You can't say a definite YES or NO right after testing them. They reveal themselves in all their glory after some time... An hour or two, sometimes three.
I want to give a special thanks to the store for their promptness and responsibility. I ordered on Saturday night, and by Monday evening, it was already at the warehouse of the delivery service.

This is our second time ordering a fragrance from Makeup, and my spouse and I use it together. I personally don't smell it on myself after just an hour, but my colleagues say that they can still smell it in my office. In the evening, I can also smell it on my husband. I won't write anything about the scent because that is all subjective.
I have bought Montale Intense Peper samples twice. The first time, it came in a black opaque bottle with a pink sticker. It lasted for a long time, was quite strong, had good longevity, and left a noticeable trail. The second time, they sent it in a transparent bottle. The scent was only noticeable for the first hour, and it didn't stay on clothes. Although the first time, the scent lingered on clothes even after washing. I am disappointed. I am hesitant to buy a 50ml bottle as it might be the same as the second sample.
I really like this fragrance as it sits close to the skin (two sprays), and I don't like to drench myself in perfume. It starts with a very delicate pepper scent, followed by lemon. It becomes even more beautiful when the last notes come into play. This fragrance is suitable for both women and men. In terms of longevity, it lasts for more than 2 days on clothes and around 6-7 hours on the skin.

I also had a question about the color of the bottle, I haven't checked with the official sources yet, but I bought a 50ml one and it is completely gold, while in the advertisements, the top is dark and the bottom is gold. However, in previous comments, it was mentioned that this is how it should be and it depends on the volume. But I will definitely verify it. The fragrance is excellent and it beautifully unfolds in frosty weather! However, I don't understand why the 50ml and 100ml bottles differ in color. The 100ml bottle is golden with black, while the 50ml bottle is only gold.
The durability and quality of this product are excellent, I purchased it here. However, in my opinion, the scent is more masculine and I cannot imagine it on a woman. It reminds me of Christmas, pine trees, and mandarins. On my partner, it sounds absolutely amazing and he receives many compliments. I would not recommend it for women as it may come across as ambiguous, heavy, and still masculine.
