This balm feels nice when applied, but don't expect it to reduce redness if you've been sunburned. It simply provides pleasant hydration.
This is a fantastic product that I've been buying for three summers in a row. It's also suitable for my 4-year-old child.
The product didn't protect against sunburn as promised. After using it, my burnt skin felt slightly softer, but I didn't experience any cooling effect. The cream itself is cool to the touch, but that only lasts until it warms up on the skin. It offers no real relief from sunburns! I found that a cream designed for sensitive skin was more effective.
This is a decent balm that helps soothe sunburned areas and truly cools the skin. It has a pleasant scent, reminiscent of cucumber or something similar, and it moisturizes well. The only noticeable downside is the dispenser. Much like in some sunscreen products, it dispenses the balm in tiny amounts, requiring you to press it numerous times, which can leave your finger sore by the end. Additionally, the balm comes out with such force that you have to be careful to prevent it from splattering everywhere.
