It suited me well, leaving no film, mattifying not for the whole day but for a couple of hours (which is an achievement for my skin) and not drying it out at all. Worth trying for very oily skin. Much better than Renew or Holyland, which I have tried before.

I couldn't use this product due to the high alcohol content. I have very oily skin, but even this toner managed to dry it out. It stings my eyes when I apply it. I immediately threw it away.

You must understand that Clinique products from the system contain BHA acids (salicylic). The lotion has a high alcohol content because this acid will not work properly and penetrate the necessary layer of the skin otherwise. It is recommended to use the product for a minimum of 10 days and only during the autumn-winter season when the sun is not too bright. Apply the lotion to the face gently, avoiding rubbing it multiple times to prevent irritation. If you are only using the lotion, it is better to use it specifically or in case of emergencies. If you want to follow the entire course, get the 3 steps together: cleanser, lotion, and cream from this series. The cleanser effectively removes all oil, the lotion exfoliates, and the cream restores the normal pH level of the skin. Without the cream, you may develop rosacea, sensitivity, and burns. If you use acidic products in spring-summer, you may experience pigmentation spots on your face. Make sure to use a sunscreen. Choose the lotion number according to your skin type, where 1 is for dry skin and 3-4 is for oily skin. If you have a strong reaction, dilute the lotion slightly in water for the first 5 days to allow your skin to adjust. This series is not for regular skincare but rather for treatment purposes. Buy something else for regular skincare.
