I have very porous hair with a strong copper pigment, so most dyes, without using powder, simply didn't work or had a rusty or yellow tint. This dye performs its function perfectly. I mix 5% natural + 5% violet and 15% ash or 10 violet + 15 ash, with a 9% developer. I lighten the roots according to the instructions and leave it on for 5 minutes on the length. The result is not a platinum blonde like I was with the powder, but a natural blonde without any yellow or other impurities. If I don't leave it on my hair for too long, it doesn't burn. So far, I haven't found any alternatives for myself.
Product Review: Ash Hair Color. I mixed the oxidizers 9 and 12 in equal proportions to achieve the desired shade.
This paint is the only one that suits me. I only use it to dye my blonde hair, and I am completely satisfied with it, giving it a perfect score of 10 out of 10.
The Ash color with a 9% developer gave excellent root lightening without bleach. The shade is natural and not red, which was important for me. I had about 5-8 centimeters of redness from the previous dyeing after the roots. So, the dye took care of it. I am very satisfied and will always use this dye from now on. The hair quality was not affected. Thank you!
This is the best hair dye, special blonde super, vibrant hair, beautiful blonde. I would say it's better than after some professionals)))) The color is neutral at 12% + Dia light toning 9.02. I've been coloring my hair myself for about 6 months, very satisfied and highly recommend it. I've tried many toning options, and this one is the best. It's not yellow, not violet, not gray, but natural 🔥
For me, it is the best for root lighting. Its own base is dark, between 6 and 5. Only Loreal, Matrix, and Wella Koleston special blondes in cool shades do not give a rusty color. Loreal is my favorite, Ash Violet with a native oxidizer of 12% in a ratio of 1:2. Half a tube is enough for the roots. I only dye Loreal Majirel Hi Lift on the roots because special blondes are not suitable for toning. I tone with any dye with a 3% oxidizer not every month because when washed off, if you leave the dye with water for a minute, it will have a pleasant pearly shade.
I have never sent negative reviews before, but I can't hold back this time.... maybe my experience will save someone's hair! Girls, this is awful, either Makeup sells low-quality L'Oreal paint, or L'Oreal has become terrible... Anyway, I have been a blonde for 15 years, always dyed with L'Oreal 9/21, 10/21. I bought it not from Makeup, but from my hairdresser's salon, and I only dyed the roots myself with 9% developer. So, I know how to mix and use the dye - and don't tell me Makeup that I didn't follow the proportions, I did everything correctly throughout these 15 years. And I had beautiful blonde hair below my shoulders... So, for over a year now, I have been ordering paint from Makeup and was satisfied. I always chose the right shades, and even specifically the more expensive ones from the EU - I thought they would be better! Well, I kept dyeing my hair, and every month I noticed that my hair was getting worse, falling out with incredible force. But I didn't even want to think that it could be the dye - after all, I have been loyal to L'Oreal for a long time! Then, my hair got even worse, dry and started to curl. I had piles of straw-like hair on my head... I took various vitamin courses, from omega to calcium and everything else... but my hair kept falling out and breaking from the roots. Luckily, autumn started, and I haven't dyed my hair at all for 2.5 months. And miraculously, my hair stopped falling out and breaking from the root, but it still breaks partially where the new hair has grown. I even had a fringe naturally - I didn't cut it, but the hair on my forehead just broke off, and from my long hair, there is only a trace left and a forced bob! Girls, if you read my review, please take the time to write if anyone else experienced hair loss from L'Oreal with Makeup.
I am very satisfied with the result. I used the shade "beige" with a 9% developer in a 1:2 ratio. I applied it to the roots for 50 minutes and then emulsified it throughout the length for 3 minutes. The color of my hair is amazing, there is no yellowish tint. P.s. My roots are dark brown with gray hair, and the length of my hair is lightened. Thank you, MakeUp.
My own base 6, a typical dark brown color.
Previously, I used Matrix Extra Blonde V+ with their 9% developer. My roots always turned yellow.
I decided to try this dye with the Violet shade.
Result: roots without any yellow tones, a more grayish undertone.
The only issue: the baby hairs on my forehead have a slight purple tint. But I will be toning soon, so it doesn't bother me.
I'm concerned about the price of the dye. I bought it for 169 hryvnias, and it's only 50 ml, which means it's only enough for one use. And now its price is over 220...
The paint suits me well, I use a 6% developer, and there are no quality issues. The formula is designed for super lightening, but the smell can be tolerated. The hair is of good quality, it doesn't burn or turn into rubber, but it is important to choose the right developer. French and German blonde dyes are designed for light European hair, so they can easily lighten without damaging the hair or causing yellowing, unlike Spanish and Italian brands.
I recently bought this hair dye here in the color Ash+ with a 6% developer, also from the same brand. I dyed my previously lightened yellowish-red hair with it. The dye submerged well and gave a nice shade... But..! I can't understand how girls dye their hair with a 9% or even 12% developer if my 6% already irritates me. I couldn't even keep it until the end. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the online store overall. Everything is great, the delivery is fast, and the courier is very pleasant.
The hair dye does not damage the hair. That's great. However, there is some yellowing at the roots. I liked the beige color more than the ash color. I want to try the Majiblond dye next, but it is more expensive.
A little bit of yellowish tint at the roots, but overall it's not bad! The hair feels soft and it doesn't cause excessive damage.
I am satisfied with this dye! The root took about 6 minutes! I chose the HL Ash color at 9%. It turned out to be a cool, clean blonde. (I left it on for 50 minutes) I also used it on the mid-lengths (hair previously lightened at the salon without ammonia) to cover the yellow tones that were appearing in strips. I applied the dye evenly to the yellow areas and left it on for 35 minutes. It almost completely evened out! Next time, I think I'll try the violet shade and maybe beige or the previous 900 shade to achieve a pure blonde color with a pearly undertone. I'll mix 2 or 3 colors! And for the third time, I'll dye the roots and perhaps use the 10.1 Dia Light - I'll have to think about it ;)
There were some trials and errors, but the yellow tones on the lengths after the balayage treatment have practically disappeared! Phew. I also use a shampoo against yellow tones from L'Oréal, which helps maintain a color free from gray and green. Thanks to the girls who leave comments - it's very helpful! Thanks, Make Up - the best website! Being a blonde is a whole pyramid! It can be costly, but it's doable ;)
I purchased this hair dye to lighten my roots. The color is Ash. Previously, I used Matrix lightening dye (the blue tube), but unfortunately, Matrix gave me a lot of yellow tones (I didn't dare to dye with 9% or 12% developer) and it severely dried out my hair. After using this dye, I like the effect more. My hair doesn't thin out as much and doesn't fall out. I have thick, fine, but porous hair at about level 7-8. I mixed it at a ratio of 1:2 (30g of dye + 60g of developer). I only leave it on for 45 minutes on the roots!!! I don't leave it on the lengths because it's too aggressive of a mixture. The dye doesn't burn much. One tube is enough for 2 applications. After rinsing out the dye, there are no blue or other shades. Just a clean base color, of course, there's a difference between the roots and lengths, at 12% it will probably be completely white, but I like the result at 9%. This time, I toned both the roots and lengths, but the shade was completely neutral, so you could say that in the photos, it looks like there was no toning. 1 - photo of the base color, 2 - photo of wet hair immediately after rinsing. 3 - photo of dry hair with barely noticeable toning. 4 - after 4 washes. I did a little toning with a Polish pink toner, Cameleo (a couple of drops in a basin of water, rinsing the hair).
The order was delivered quickly, thank you so much.
This is an excellent hair dye. I chose the ash shade, and it didn't leave any yellow tones on my roots. Even when I washed my hair, it didn't fade or come off. Thanks to this makeup brand, I only needed half of the tube for my hair.
It effectively removes unwanted red and yellow tones from the hair color. However, that's where the positives end. The paint is extremely damaging to the hair, resulting in a beautiful color but terrible quality. The hair practically breaks from the roots.
Ash + Violet, beautiful color on bleached hair but the roots turn yellow with 9% peroxide, it didn't take well. I first dyed the roots and then diluted the color with water for a 5-minute toning on the lengths.
The paint is of average quality.
The paint is simply wonderful, it lightens practically without any yellowing, it slightly tingles, but it's bearable. The color is beige, and the delivery was excellent, as always. Thank you to the store once again!
I used to use Majiblond (mixing shades 921 and 901) and the result was amazing. However, they stopped producing it, so I decided to try this hair dye (beige and violet). The outcome... not great. It's only a 3 out of 10. After coloring, I ended up with gray strands and the color wasn't as white as I wanted (more like wheat). I used a 12-volume developer with both dyes. Now I'm thinking about which hair dye to switch to.
I have been using this hair dye for a long time and I really like its quality. It doesn't damage my hair, but the only downside is that it doesn't fully cover gray hair as advertised. It's a bit expensive, and I'm afraid I might have to switch to a cheaper dye. But I really don't want to!
A special thanks to the makeup company for the fast delivery and for including a gift (a cosmetic bag) for our anniversary of collaboration with the online store!
I have been using Majiblond for several years. It used to slightly irritate my scalp, but it wasn't a big issue. However, this hair dye burns quite a lot. After applying it, I had to leave the salon and go outside because it started to burn intensely. The result is absolutely the same as with Majiblond. I chose the ashy color. A few weeks ago, this dye was priced at 143 UAH, then it went up to 190 UAH, and now it's 228 UAH. Can you believe the dollar has risen so much?
I really, really liked it!
Everyone who has used Majiblond and thought it was good - you will be pleasantly surprised. Previously, I mixed 901c and 902c and it was not bad, but the combination of violet and natural is simply amazing, such a natural, soft, beautiful color!!! Just like blond children's hair, my own base is actually 8. The color lasted for 3 weeks with flying colors, even though I use oils and masks, which as we know do not help preserve the color, but rather the opposite))) After 3 weeks, a little yellowness did appear, but usually this yellowness occurred immediately after coloring with the same Koleston or Novel. I recommend it, let's make the world brighter)
I bought the violet shade, and it perfectly matches my 5.0 color. The roots are free from any yellow tones after dyeing, and the color washes out beautifully. It is much better than the 901.s shade. I am extremely happy. Thank you for the fast delivery.
