I received the long-awaited fragrance with delivery from the European Union, but unfortunately, the scent does not correspond to my expectations. It is not long-lasting and only stays on for a couple of hours. I was eagerly anticipating it, but instead, I am disappointed. Perhaps the fragrance needs more time to settle and fully develop its potential.
This fragrance has become my absolute favorite.
Amber soft (smells like a Christmas tree resin), old leather photo album dear to the heart, not overly cute but cozy, expensive, softer and more pleasant than Lambre by L'Artisan and not as long-lasting and irritating to the nose. But! My husband said it "smells like old ladies". Definitely worth testing. 10 years ago, I re-gifted this present because I couldn't wear it, but now I bought it and I'm loving it. Very similar to Elixir, a bit more amber and less intense, and to Toilette - slightly less citrusy.
Warm, enveloping, cozy, my beloved scent! What else can I say? It's an aroma that I personally enjoy, and I don't care about others' opinions or how they perceive it. It's my own personal aromatherapy. Very pleasant, very comforting. That's how much I love this scent; other variations of it just don't captivate me. I give it a 4-star rating only because it doesn't undergo any significant transformation, it remains the same as when I first applied it. But I don't mind that, it's not something I need. However, for some, this might be a drawback. Definitely worth trying and it's important to listen to it for a long time, alone with yourself. I'm afraid you won't experience its allure if you quickly test it in a store on a blotter.
This is excellent. A worthy creation from the house of Hermes.
