Dior Dolce Vita Eau de Toilette

I have been using these perfumes for a long time in the 90s and 2000s. I tried different versions of it back then. I particularly liked it in the white packaging, with the elongated bottle. It was absolutely luxurious. There was also a decent one in a golden case, although the bottle was a bit flat. But I liked it less because it was more chypre. Then these perfumes disappeared for a long time. As soon as they reappeared for sale, I was eager to buy them again and finally ordered them. I wouldn't say that the modern version is completely different. It reminds me of the old version in the golden case, quite similar actually. At first, you can feel the chypre notes. But it's more subtle. Then you can smell the fruits and flowers. To me, it smells like champagne with strawberries. Lovely perfumes. What I didn't like is that the packaging and bottle now look somewhat cheap compared to the old version. There is no engraving, no inscription. It's a pity.

I received my order and I would like to know why the bottle does not have the golden lettering with the name of the perfume "Dolce Vita Dior" like it used to. There used to be such a inscription on every bottle.

It is a masterpiece of perfumery. The scent is pure positivity: a rich sweetness, sunny, joyful, carefree!
It smells like bubbly champagne with fruits.
The fragrance eases tension, enveloping you in a dreamy, carefree cocoon. Completely detached from reality, an illusion of a beautiful life.
It's impossible not to love. I highly recommend it.

Lovely fragrance, classically feminine, festive, joyful, sparkling, yet gentle. In the modern version, cedar is more noticeable, but this is not a drawback for me because it makes the scent less gourmet. It is not very long-lasting, as it is a toilet water, which inherently cannot have phenomenal longevity.

I really love Dolce Vita - lemonade, cinnamon, and a hint of flowers. It has a delightful aroma that is perfect for the cold seasons, but even now, it doesn't feel overwhelming.
