Becoming my favorite scent. One that is "forever". I bought it without testing, only based on the description of the main notes, and... it is love. It is the essence of me. It is evident that I am the same merciless person who doesn't care about others. I apply one spray - and it feels like coming home. Let the whole world wait.
I won't break it down into notes - for me, it's cola and saffron at the beginning, and the entire universe afterwards. The combination of patchouli with cedar and geranium is power, charisma, and countless impressions.
In 5 years, I haven't gotten tired of it, I love it endlessly. It is perfect.
I can immediately say that this fragrance is not for everyone, but for true perfume connoisseurs. And this is not an exaggeration. It is beautiful. I can detect woody and vanilla notes. There is even a sweet oud note, which is not mentioned here. It reminds me of Lancome Oud Bouquet (which I own). It also resembles Yves Saint Laurent. Wood. For lovers of these perfumes, it is definitely worth trying. For others, it is only worth testing.
The sample does not match the scent in the 50ml bottle at all, not after waiting for 24 hours, 48 hours, or even a lifetime. No matter how they try to convince me, the sample has a vanilla and almond fragrance, while the bottle contains men's perfume, slightly musty and not for everyone's taste. I recommend doing a test in the store before purchasing, so as not to waste money like I did in my case.
The first sprays from the long-awaited little bottle... and I can't believe my nose! Wow! This is Shalimar's sibling in PV! Only without leather, suede, and frankincense! The same citrusy-vanilla-spicy accords, just lightly sprinkled with dusty dry lavender! Of course, they diverge in their bases - Montale's Vanilla Forest goes into slightly spicy lacquered woods on me, unlike Shalimar with its powdery-vanilla base. Very high quality, not frivolous, and absolutely feminine on my nose! Bravo, Mr. Montale! I really like how he plays with classics. Among my favorites are Chypre Vanille, and now Boise Vanille goes to the same place with its comrade in name!
I tried this fragrance in another store, and it is definitely not the usual fruit punch that many are accustomed to. The scent is bold, serious, and daring! Not everyone will be able to wear it, but those who do won't be able to resist it!
This is not at all the scent that I had before. I am disappointed. If it were possible, I would have returned it. And here's the reason why it's cheaper.
