This mysterious eau de parfum is part of an astonishing trilogy named Eaux Sanguines, dedicated to the theme of allegories. Allegories are the passion of Liquides Imaginaires. In this instance, the perfumers have drawn an analogy with several types of divine wines. The fragrance Bloody Wood is devoted to a fine wine, crafted for aristocrats. It boasts a rich and complex character, coupled with a distinctive color that mirrors the blood of the gods.
Right from the beginning, from the rich dark-ruby bottle, notes of white wine eagerly burst forth, highlighted by hints of violet root. This unusual melody is soon replaced by the overtones of raspberry and cherry, followed by the emergence of sandalwood and woody notes.
The fragrance Bloody Wood is dedicated to wine and blood. According to the brand's founders, their goal in creating this perfumed water was to demonstrate that the modern world is, in reality, filled with mystique.
For me, this is the weakest fragrance from the brand out of all that I have tried. Dull woody notes with a subtle hint of wine.
Beautiful, warm, and very enveloping. It smells slightly of salty wine, bitter roses, wooden notes, and just a hint of smoked plums (although my husband claims it smells like raspberries). It is very pleasant and not ordinary. It lasts a long time, but stays close to the skin, almost without leaving a trail. I would like to mention the bottle separately: the cap is much heavier than the bottle itself, so be extremely careful with it. But it looks luxurious. I definitely recommend trying it.
The scent is truly unique. I immediately sensed the metallic taste of blood, which perfectly matches its name, "Bloody." However, I would not personally use it. I cannot say how it unfolds when worn.
Like all creations of this house, it is exquisite for being unlike anything else. A fragrance with aspirations. The rose and cherry-raspberry shimmer create a playful atmosphere amidst the ruggedness and determination that the wooden notes provide. At first, it truly starts off beautifully, like wine. However, unfortunately, it quickly dissipates. Overall, a very worthy representative of the niche.
