The wow effect did not happen. The gel has a pleasant texture, it does not dry out the skin, and it slightly tingles for the first 20 seconds. The scent is herbal, you could say it's "green." As for slowing down hair growth, more time is needed to test it. Concerning the ingredients, the jar does not mention any parabens, but the label with the translation lists a whole list of them - it's scary to use. I would like to know for sure.
