The Ultrabond Acid-Free Primer from Kodi Professional enhances the strong adhesion of gel to the natural nail surface.
This primer does not contain methacrylic acid, making it safer for natural nails compared to acid-based products. It does not burn the surface of the natural nail plate and does not damage the cuticle. Almost odorless, it is perfectly suited for use with both gel and acrylic systems. Ultrabond is practical, economical, and facilitates easy modeling. This safe, acid-free primer gently degreases nails before applying gel or acrylic, providing additional adhesion of the coating to the natural nail surface without disrupting the nail plate's pH balance.

Push back the cuticle with a wooden stick or a cuticle pusher. Use a buffing file to remove the natural shine from the nail. Brush off the resulting dust with a stiff-bristle brush. Apply a small amount of acid-free primer, wiping off any excess on the edge of the bottle. Place the brush in the center of the nail and allow the primer to spread evenly across the entire surface. Adjust the coating to ensure it does not come into contact with the skin. If it does, rinse with running water. Aim for a thin coating; otherwise, the scales will not lift properly. Wait for the coating to dry and turn whitish.

I really liked the primer. Before this, I had another brand - this one lasts significantly longer! HOWEVER, I got a defective one - the brush splits in half, making the application process practically impossible! It's a pity that I threw away the old primer - maybe it would have worked :( Now I'm waiting for something to run out... One downside is that it has a strong smell, like acetone. My previous one didn't smell like that. So if you have allergies, be aware. Overall, I recommend the primer itself.
I bought it on Makeup, and it suited me well. I use it to cover my nails with gel polish. This acid-free primer does its job well.
I didn't buy it here. I suppose that with so many positive reviews, no one will believe my negative opinion. However, this primer is not worth its price. It has a watery consistency and barely sticks, often fails with gel extensions. Considering that there are many reviews here about gel polishes, I don't know. Maybe it works great with gel polish.
Naomi is cheaper and of excellent quality. Unfortunately, I found out that it is produced in Ukraine after buying it, I was fooled by the brand's reputation.
P.S. By the way, I was also disappointed with the Cody files.
This is an excellent primer. I apply it to my artificial nails and then immediately apply gel polish without waiting for it to dry. It holds up really well, and I can wear my nails for about 18 days before the tips start to show through a little. I wash my hands about 300 times a day, and it still holds up. It suits me perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Good stuff) I used it when I was doing gel nail extensions. Then it ran out, and I thought it wasn't necessary for gel polishes because they stick well on their own, but... Suddenly, gel polish stopped sticking to my nails completely, just one day and it comes off. It's not like I'm doing something wrong - I've been doing this for 9 years and I use CND base and top coat.. In short, the problem disappeared instantly with Ultra Bond. I've been wearing it for three weeks now, and if my nails didn't grow, I would continue wearing it - they stay on tightly and come off easily, just like without it. I think, for prevention, it's not necessary, but if your nails are asking for it, it will help a lot))
I don't understand its purpose at all. I use gel polish with it because most people do. However, it holds up just as well without it.
