The sponge is very stiff and therefore uncomfortable to use. It's strange that there are such good reviews. Until now, I always bought Shiseido sponges, but now I regret trusting the reviews.
Great sponge! With it, the foundation applies faster and more evenly. It doesn't disappoint.
The sponge itself is of good quality, but it absorbs a lot of product and has a terrible rubber smell. I washed it twice (by hand and in the washing machine with detergent), it didn't tear, but the smell didn't disappear. And that unpleasant rubber smell stays on your face throughout the day. For me, this is a decisive factor. Plus, I wouldn't say that it distributes foundation beautifully. It doesn't expand when in contact with water. I threw it away.
Having a bunch of professional brushes and several beautyblender sponges, I didn't expect anything supernatural from this cheap sponge. I just took it as a backup for traveling - and was pleasantly surprised by how well it blends the foundation. I have Wunder and Estee Lauder foundations, both blend beautifully, with the first one even being better. The coverage is simply weightless. The only downside is that it's difficult to clean and it absorbs quite a bit of product, so it's better to apply the foundation directly on the skin and then blend it with the sponge.
Decent, but the shape doesn't allow for reaching the corners of the eyes. Next time, I'll try sponges similar to a beauty blender.
It worked fine as intended, but it tore during the fifth cleansing of the foundation sponge, which is disappointing.
A regular and convenient sponge.
This sponge is absolutely amazing, especially considering how affordable it is! The quality is excellent. I use it every day and have even stopped using brushes because of it. It is incredibly convenient!
