Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover - OPI Non-Acetone Polish
The nail polish removes easily (maybe not instantly, but effectively). It dries out the nails significantly less compared to other products. However, it has a strong smell of acetone. It is unclear why it has a smell if it is not included in the ingredients. I have tried it and continue to use it exclusively because I haven't found anything better yet.
I used this product not as a nail polish but as a nail strengthener, and it worked well for that purpose. It truly doesn't dry out the skin, but to be honest, it does have a strong acetone smell. It's a bit confusing because if it doesn't contain acetone, then why does it smell so bad?
I was disappointed to find out that the product was only two-thirds full in the bottle. Considering the price, it turned out to be a "golden" rip-off. From now on, I will make sure to check before making any payment.
I have always been pleased with the quality of OPI nail polish. I have been using their purple nail polish for a long time, which I bought in a large professional size of 960ml. Now I have tried this one. I must say, I like the scent of the pink one much more. The only downside, and the reason why I didn't give it a rating of 5, is the lack of a dispenser. However, even in the large almost liter-sized container, there is also no dispenser. I have successfully solved this problem by using an adapted empty bottle from Salon. Therefore, I don't see a big issue with the lack of a dispenser. I have tried odorless nail polish removers from Dance Legend (gentle, doesn't dry out the cuticles, but takes a long time to remove due to its oily base), Orly Remover Gentle Polish (didn't like it because of the smell, and it dries out the nails despite being labeled as "gentle"), and O.P.I Expert Touch. So far, the Non-Acetone Polish from OPI is the winner on this list.
It cleanses well, but the smell still lingers. However, the most important thing is that acetone is listed as the primary ingredient on my bottle! And it dries out my nails. It may have been a super remedy in the past, but not anymore.
Recently, I made a discovery that nails become brittle due to dryness, and I decided to experiment by trying something to see what would happen afterwards. Surprisingly, my nails stopped peeling! After using this, my nails look and feel moisturized.
It washes away excellently without emitting strong odors that can be noticed outdoors. However, the small volume of the product runs out very quickly.
This product effectively removes nail polish and does not cause nails to become brittle or damaged, unlike most other nail polish removers.
