Base Coat for Natural Nails - OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
This is a very nice base, transparent, it stays on well, and it is the best for natural nails. I highly recommend it!
Great base coat, I apply it in two layers and seal the edges. I use two coats of nail polish and dry it with Seche Vite. I wear this polish for 6 days and it hardly chips. I remove it to let my nails rest for a day, and then I paint them again, doing this every week. This base coat and Seche Clear are almost identical. I like both of them.
This base coat is a miracle!
Before this, I used Smart Enamel, Sally Hansen, and Orly. The polish would start chipping by the end of the first day and by the third day, it looked terrible. Some nails would completely peel off, and I would have to repaint 1-2 nails (I mainly do nail art, so it's even more frustrating when it doesn't last). I would touch up the tips of the other nails and cover up any chips just to extend the manicure for a day. I always wear gloves when doing household chores, but it didn't help. The peeling process would often start while cooking, and huge chunks of polish would easily end up in the food. The whole kitchen would be covered in flakes of nail polish.
With this base coat and Seche Vite top coat, I have extended the life of my manicure from 1-3 days to 5-7 days! It stays on like it's glued! No need for touch-ups or worrying about it coming off at the worst possible moment, leaving me with untidy nails and no way to fix it. I can even wash dishes without gloves, take baths, and play in the water. If there's a chip, the previous base coats would easily peel off the polish like a film, and it would happen without my involvement. But with this base coat, the chip doesn't affect the rest of the nail.
I had already accepted that I had fussy nails and didn't expect such a fantastic result!
Despite the pink shade in the bottle, it doesn't appear on the nails.

Good base, specifically tried it with cheap market nail polishes. The nail does not turn yellow, the polish does not chip or peel off.
There is no special effect. If it protects the nails from the impact of nail polish, then it is good. It does not affect the longevity of the manicure. However, if the quality of the nail polish is poor from the start, no base or top coat will keep it on the nails for long. Therefore, quality should be considered as a whole.
