Corrective Solution for Oily and Problem Skin La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+M

I have purchased this product for the third time. It is very effective (it even helps with breakouts during critical days). However, it is important to note that it is suitable only for oily skin (it did not work for my sister).

Well, there are better and cheaper creams out there. When I was a teenager, I had terrible skin, and now it's more or less normal, but still oily and slightly problematic. This cream stings me, especially in dry areas like around the mouth and cheeks, especially if there is peeling there, so I only apply it to my T-zone. The first few times I used it, my skin turned red like 👹. It doesn't moisturize, the peeling doesn't go away, the pores don't shrink, and there are no fewer breakouts. I use it together with a cleanser from La Roche for problematic skin. Maybe I'll use this cream during the summer because it somehow dries out my skin. For colder weather, my favorite is a cream from Balea for problematic skin, which is currently a must-have for me. It doesn't have such a strong smell, it doesn't sting at all, and it absorbs quickly, mattifies, and moisturizes. But it was worth trying, otherwise I wouldn't have been satisfied.

However, I made the mistake of using it on my entire face instead of just targeting the blemishes. As a result, the delicate areas, such as around my lips, became dry. Therefore, I recommend using it only on problem areas and pimples. I do not recommend using it as an all-over face cream, it is better to find another product for that. As a spot corrector, it is a very good product, and if used in combination with the Effaclar H gel and sebum-regulating mask, blemishes disappear quickly.
