Kerastase Bain Satin is nothing like the original Bain Satin 1 This new formula left my hair in knots and irritated my scalp and skin.Why oh why have Kerastase messed about with the formula.I had previously used the original Bain Satin 1 for over 10 years without any problem. I shall be trying out other brands from now on.
Incredible shampoo! I have hair that is half gray, with the remaining portion still dyed. After washing my hair, it feels silky and vibrant. I am extremely satisfied!
The moisturizing is so-so; there are much better products out there. However, my hair gets heavily static afterwards. The only positive aspect is that it adds shine.
I use this shampoo in combination with the conditioner and heat protectant from the same line. My hair is almost fully grown out in its natural color, only the ends remain lightened. This is the best my hair has ever looked - well cared for, soft, and manageable. When I wake up in the morning, it falls in waves as if I just brushed it.

It helps reduce frizz in my hair. It works best when used together with the conditioner and hair mask from the same series.

The shampoo has a pleasant scent and lathers well, effectively cleaning the hair. It also gives a nice shine to the hair. However, on the second day, the roots feel not fresh. It caused itching on the scalp.
The shampoo did not work well for my normal natural brown hair. It does not thoroughly cleanse the hair and leaves the roots oily. However, it is a relief that it does not dry out the lengths.

For me, this shampoo is simply the best. I am already on my second bottle. My hair is dyed red, normal at the roots but damaged at the ends, and my scalp is sensitive.
