The fragrance is lovely, but it's definitely not for everyone. It's something you need to grow into, and I mean psychologically, not in terms of physical age. It's in the same league as Chanel No. 5 or YSL "Y". The scent is luxurious, long-lasting, yet soft. On my cool skin, it unfolds subtly and without being overwhelming, with notes of flowers, freshness, luxury, and sandalwood. I can't quite describe it any other way. At work, I mostly receive compliments from women, especially those aged 30-55. I would say this fragrance embodies status, maturity, confidence, and independence. Wow. I got it more as an artifact. To experience a nearly century-old composition - and now I'm just beginning to get acquainted with it, as the pyramid is not without reason composed of 22 notes. I also bought some as gifts, but I see that today it's not worth trying anything else after it, because it's so complex that I risk not hearing the rest of the ordinary 10-16 note compositions. It's a very wintry, changeable thing, and I'll be observing it, truly a scent-detective. This is clearly not for the average user with specific demands, but for those who love to listen closely. The average person might start complaining with the clichéd "grandmotherly" remarks, but they probably need to avoid aldehydes like the plague, as it seems aldehydes are the 20th-century note that not every mind can grow to appreciate without being scared. A long time ago, I got something with aldehydes for my mom just for winter variety, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I'll be getting to know it, as it's not a simple, straightforward thing, but in a good way, it's as challenging as an ancient work or a recognized novel that requires time to read, understand, and observe. It's good that I got it at the beginning of winter - it will be interesting.

For many years, I've been searching for a fragrance my mother used to have. It was a cosmetic set in a plastic clutch bag with a chain, called Aviance Opera. Nowadays, you can only find the empty organizer bags online. I asked a GPT chat what modern perfumes are similar to Aviance, and it recommended these by Lanvin. I received them and was initially surprised by the intense scent, but it settled down nicely. I can't yet say if they are similar. I'll update my review later. I ordered from European countries, so it was almost four times cheaper.

I didn't buy it here, but I wanted to leave a review. I spent a long time considering this fragrance because I was hesitant to purchase it. I finally decided to go for it, and I don't regret it one bit. The scent is incredibly wonderful and very similar to Chanel No. 5, so if you're a fan of that perfume, you'll definitely like this one too.

Thank you, beloved MakeUp, for this long-awaited black bottle! I hunted for it for many years, and here it is with me. It has a very rich floral-woody scent. The longevity pleasantly surprised me - 10 out of 10! I didn't expect that for such a price. It is not for lovers of sweet and light fragrances, so feel free to pass by if those scents are unpleasant to you. At first, it has a soapy-rubbery smell, but only when it unfolds does it sound like what is stated in the pyramid. It is a very beautiful fragrance with a history spanning 90 years.

I couldn't wait for a few days for the scent to settle from the journey, so I applied it almost immediately after receiving it, and oh my god, what a horror! It smells like an old, old grandmother! I waited for an hour, even got upset that I wasted my money, tried to wash it off, even with hot soapy water, but the smell remained the same. Another hour passed, and oh my god, what a beautiful blooming beauty! This perfume is very ambiguous, I still don't know what to do with it. I bought it without testing it. This fragrance is not available in stores, and you won't find a sample. I read a lot and hesitated...
This is the scent that a mother gives to her daughter, or a daughter gives to her mother. It embodies mature femininity and love. The modern version was made in 1993, which is the year my son was born.
And we decided that this would be a gift from my children and mother for my birthday.
I was nervous, like before a first date. It didn't disappoint.
I'm getting used to it, wearing it every day...
I won't say that I like this perfume. It's so special. I like myself in it. I don't even see those extra pounds on me, and I'm more lenient towards others :)
It's different, sometimes it really smells like grandma or auntie. Mine. Even though they never had such perfume.
Sometimes it's similar to Chanel No. 5. Really. Just softer.
It lasts on the skin from morning till evening, but maybe it's because it's cold?

I'm not a big expert on originality. But I've read and checked everything - it's all great.
